Story
Hey everyone! Meet pinky! Her former name was cruella but she didn’t respond to it. A few weeks ago we were contacted by another rescue about a dog sitting at a vet clinic waiting to be euthanized by the owner. The dog was labeled as not potty trained and snapped at her owner, being a dachshund corgi mix its behavior we typically expect and can handle so we said we would take her if the vet would hang onto her for a few days. Pinky has been nothing short of the complete opposite of why she was going to be euthanized. Pinky (the reason we call her pinky is because she was bald in many places due to flea allergies and yeast infections her owner didn’t care for) has not had a single accident in her foster home or in her crate at her foster home. She has been excellent with the other dogs of all sizes, the young children, and the kitties in the home. We do believe her owner was struggling financially and had to make up excuses as to why the euthanasia was necessary, but due to pinky’s condition it was obvious she had not been cared for in a long while. Pinky is a 3 year old corgi dachshund mix and weighs about 25 pounds. She is quiet and well behaved. She LOVES men. We can’t stress it enough that pinky loves men. She does growl a little at her foster mom but nothing past a small growl but totally lights up at her foster dad and the boy children in the home. Her best fit for a home would be with a single man, or a man who does have a woman in his life that doesn’t care pinky will never prefer her, or obviously an amazing gay couple who wants a sweet neglected girl to love on who will return that love tenfold. Pinky would be an amazing fit for almost any type of home, she just prefers men over women. Story
Koda is the biggest sweetheart. I got her when she was a puppy and she will be 2 in February. She plays at the dog park with other dogs well but can be a little selfish about toys when it comes to living with another dog, but with time and patience she will do fine! If you already have a dog I'd like us to do a public meet and greet to see how she does with them. She is a fast runner and loves to play catch. She will do anything for a treat (she can sit, shake, lay down, show her belly, and I am sure she could be trained to do more). Getting rid of her will be very hard so I would like an adopter who will keep in touch and will take great care of her. I would prefer if she went to someone with a fenced in yard too. She gets very bored without a yard which is one of the reasons I have to rehome her because when i moved I no longer have a yard and I can tell she is suffering with my busy schedule and not having the freedom to run. She is a big chewer so you will need lots of hard toys

Story
We thought Erni was a boy - which is how she got her name! It seems to suit so even though we discovered along the way that she is fact, a hermaphrodite, we kept it!  Erni came from a hoarding situation and is well versed in living with a lot of other dogs. She has no desire to be an only dog, but also does not need a lot of them. She would prefer another laid back dog in the house. She is less knowledgeable about being handled by people. She is not necessarily afraid, it's just not something she enjoys. She is not snuggly, but still follows us around, begs for snacks and wants to be with her people. Erni LOVES to play fetch! She will play fetch for hours. She also enjoys other toys.  While Erni does not want to snuggle or be your best friend, she does follow her foster mom around the house and is very happy when she comes home. She will want to be your dog's best friend, but is fine if the other dog wants space as well. Erni is looking for a home with a solidly fenced yard. She is fine with cats. Erni uses both outside and potty pads and is about 90% potty trained. Chances are high she will not get much better but supervision and crate training are very helpful! Erni does walk on a leash. Erni's adoption fee is $175 and comes with spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet well visit and microchip. ##1355952##

Story
Lucy Lue is a well behaved shy sweet girl... but her owner can no longer take care of her. Lucy is around 10 years old & has been WELL taken care of.Had same owner for 8-9 yearsRegular vet visits. No health problems. No bad habbits. She is a sweet friendly girl who begs to be rubbed & does really well with other dogs, cats, & kids...Her owner is 70 years old, has trouble walking & prone to falling. Unfortunately, the owner hasnt been able to take her on a walk in years... & she doesnt ... or spend much time outside getting any exercise... considering shes in great shape for a 10 year old dog. So shes become a bit chubby. She also doesnt get cuddles or rubs cuz her owner just isnt that way animals i guess. Lucy deserves to live out her elder years being loved on, being walked & being free to run & enjoy the outdoors. If youd like to meet her... plz let me know. Thanks.
