Story
Maverick is a big 1-year old puppy who truly believes he’s a lap dog! He has big personality, lots of love to give, and endless amount of energy. Sometimes that energy can get him into a little trouble! Unfortunately, we have made the very difficult decision to find Maverick a new home. When we brought him home we didn’t fully understand just how much exercise, playtime, attention and time a young, energetic dog like him would need. We also have two cats who were part of family before Maverick came along. He doesn’t want to hurt them; he simply wants to play and hasn’t quite learned that they don’t share his enthusiasm. Unfortunately, this has made things difficult for everyone. This is honestly one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. Maverick is one of the best dogs I could ask for, and this decision is not being made because we don’t love him. It’s being made because of how much we do. I have came to realization that I cannot give him the life style and attention he deserves.
