🧡 Meet Rusty 🧡 At 10 years young, Rusty is ready to spend his golden years surrounded by the love, comfort, and kindness every senior pup deserves. 🐾 This handsome long-haired Chihuahua mix may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time to feel safe, and you'll discover his favorite thing… getting all the scratches and affection his little heart desires! ❤️ Rusty isn't looking for a life full of adventure and excitement. He's much more interested in the simple things — a cozy place to lounge during the day, a peaceful home, and people who understand that the best friendships sometimes take a little time to bloom. 🌻 He's also good with other dogs, so he may enjoy having a furry friend around! Rusty does have a few special care needs, including daily thyroid medication and regular ear cleanings, but those are just little parts of loving a senior boy like him. All Rusty wants is a soft place to land and someone who will give him the time he needs to feel at home. After 10 years of life, we hope his next chapter is filled with all the comfort, gentle affection, and unconditional love he deserves. 🏡💕 🐾 Rusty is located in Texas. His adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, neuter and heart worm test and current on prevention. Current Location: Union Bridge, MD Looking for a little fox with a big personality? Meet Redford, a handsome 8-year-old, 15 lb., red mahogany Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as they come. Redford is a curious, independent, and friendly boy who has settled into foster life beautifully. He is easygoing and adaptable, and he does not mind a busy household or the commotion of several large dogs. He enjoys following his canine friends around to see what everyone is up to, and he is great with people, including the very large humans in his life! Redford is wonderfully house trained and learned his leash manners remarkably quickly. He walks nicely and does not need a fenced yard, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He also knows “kennel” and is completely comfortable in his crate while his foster family is at work. He can also be trusted to relax in his own room when left out. He is very food motivated and eager to learn when treats are involved. He is also happy to accept praise and has been easy to teach. Even nail trims are no big deal for this little guy. Redford has a wonderfully balanced energy level. He is content with light daily activity, enjoys an occasional play session or short walk, and is equally happy settling down on the couch. One of his favorite things is sitting with his foster family and the other dogs while watching TV. Yes, he actually watches TV! Redford is friendly with strangers, good with other dogs, and wonderfully adaptable. He is the kind of dog who can fit into many different homes and simply enjoys being part of the family. He may look like a little fox, but his real superpower is being an incredibly easy and lovable companion.
