Story
Brown Bear is an adorable 8-month-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix with a heart as soft as his name suggests. With his soulful eyes, playful spirit, and love for snuggles, he’s sure to steal your heart! At around 22 lbs, Brown Bear is the perfect size for cuddling on the couch but still has plenty of energy for playtime. He loves playing with other dogs and is always up for a game of tug or chasing toys around the yard. A friendly, social pup, he thrives around other dogs and would do great in a home with a canine sibling. He may be a bit shy at first when meeting new people or exploring new environments, but don’t let that fool you—once he feels comfortable, Brown Bear becomes an affectionate lovebug. His favorite spot is on your lap or beside you on the couch, soaking up attention and belly rubs. Brown Bear is crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. He's also doing great with potty training and picking up routines quickly—he’s a smart little guy who’s eager to learn and please. Brown Bear would thrive in a patient, loving home where he can continue to build his confidence and enjoy a mix of playtime, training, and snuggles. Whether he’s your walking buddy, your Netflix companion, or your backyard explorer, Brown Bear is ready to be your loyal best friend. Ready to meet Brown Bear? Submit an application today and come meet this sweet pup—he can’t wait to find a family of his own! If interested in adopting, please fill out our no obligation application at www.puppypawsrescue.org

Story
My name is Jason aka Noah, as in the father of all mankind:) I have been through alot in my life, I started out in a horrible hoarding situation with my sisters, brothers, uncles and mother. I knew in my heart of hearts that there is a much better world out there. And there is!! I was saved with about 88 dogs and pups, the ladies who drive out to save all of us are absolute saints.... So, back to my origin story, I had an unbelievable hernia out my back end that made my life hell...so the ladies git me to the rescue and 3 SURGERIES later, I am living a normal life 😀 I am a sweet boy, but having come from the situation i did, i am not a cuddle bug. I will hang out with you, just next to your chair. My life has come full circle and I am finally ready to find thst forever home who will love me until the end of time. I am waiting!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Ben is a five-year-old dachshund who has special needs. In June 2024, he unfortunately slipped a disc, causing paralysis of his hind legs. Because of this, he requires a hands on owner who can assist him with using the bathroom. I don’t want to give him up, but I am not able to give him the proper care that he needs now and it has been a lot on me with the work in my personal schedule. He is in great spirits but it has just become too much for me to handle. He’s a sweet boy whose love language is physical touch (lol). He loves to cuddle & neck rubs. We have a wheelchair for him as well.
