We welcomed our chi-mix into our family as a puppy, & he is now 1 yrs old (Bday 4-4-25). This has been a very difficult decision but due to changes in our circumstances, we're looking for a loving forever home where he can get the time, attention, and consistency he deserves. He is playful, affectionate, and curious little dog who loves being around his people. Like many dogs he still has lots of energy and is continuing to learn. He can be vocal around other dogs and tends to pull on walks, so he would do best with someone who is patient and willing to continue his training and socialization. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he has great potential. We're looking for a home that understands small dogs and can provide him with plenty of love, exercise, and stability. This decision has not been made lightly, and our biggest hope is to find someone who will treat as a cherished member of the fam.

Story
Meet BigBoy, the goofiest, precious, cuddle bug there is. He is perfect in so many ways. BigBoy is great with dogs and kids. He is potty trained and uses his puppy pads well. He can be stubborn at times, but then he turns it into a game. BigBoy was introduced to me when I visited a former friend of mine. Upon entering the home, Big was in a cage that was facing a wall, covered in blankets. The first thing I noticed about him was how BIG his puppy paws were, and of course, how sweet and excited he was to see a new person despite being in a cage. I was told he was kept in there all day. Big was being neglected pretty bad. So, a few days later, he ended up with me :). I have been trying to find him a home on my own to avoid shelters and more cages. These last three months have been definitely something to talk about (in the best way), I am so grateful to have met BigBoy and hope he finds his forever person who will cherish him how he deserves.
