NITRO is one of 3 puppies that were dropped…so sad… but they were lucky enough to have the people that found them to call our rescue and so we could prepare them for a wonderful life. We call NITRO a Chiweenie… Dachshund and something else. He is the largest of the three weighing 10# and will probably get to be 18-20#s. DOB 5/10/26. He’s filled with energy and enthusiasm. He’ll be great for a family that wants the fun a Dachshund can offer. All we need is you to step up and help these puppies. Check out the ads for his brother & sister, Noel & Nutty. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. Hi! My name is Bella and I am half Chihuahua and half Dachshund, so I am a Chiweenie! Well, I may be half this and half that, but I am completely full of love and affection! I need a new home and I only weigh 11 pounds so I wouldn't take up much space, I adore humans and especially like to go on walks. I am curious and love to go, go, go! I have really good manners and am very gentle when given my treats to eat. I don't snap or grab. I am a sweet and gentle little lady who is begging you to consider me as your next fur baby. From a Storm Drain to a Second Chance... Meet Whiskey - The Smiling Survivor. Some puppies never get the chance to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, or wanted. This precious little boy was found alone in a storm drain—tiny, terrified, desperately sick, and covered in fleas. His little body was so weak that we honestly weren't sure he would survive. But this brave puppy had other plans. He fought! Day by day, he grew stronger. His sad eyes began to sparkle, his tiny tail started to wag, and the playful puppy he was always meant to be finally emerged. Now Whiskey is 3 months old and weighs 9 pounds. Story
One of 5 dogs rescued from a hoarding situation where more went to other rescues. Lyle and his siblings lived in squalor in Visalia CA until the owner died and they were pulled out by animal control officers in Hazmat suits! It was gross! The dogs had dreadfully long nails, live fleas feasting on the pups and skin conditions to show it. None was fixed and all were frightened but all love affection and were actually socialized to some extent. Lyle was initially fearful of humans, NEVER aggressive and now loves everyone. He was an annoying barker and still does have a voice when new people enter the room but overall he is a great and cute loving guy who you cant help but be drawn to. Housetraining needs to be monitored.but he is much better now He is such a sweet guy, volunteer favorite. Bosses the other dogs and thinks he is pretty important. Due to his fearfulness he needs a fenced yard as he has been known to bolt. Loves being help and loves slee[ong with (on) his human. He has bad breathe and always has but decent teeth so it must be his tummy. He is a very cool dog and we love him very much. His fur is thick and wavy. Adoption fee 345.

We love Lucas so much, but unfortunately with new responsibilities and work it’s not fair for him. He needs someone who can provide the time he needs. It breaks our hearts. We just want a good home for him. He is 2 years old. So friendly. We have 5 and 6 year old kids. He rarely barks and does not howl on ocassions we have heard him. He does love to dig so that’s like the only thing that he does, he is trained so he will let you know when he needs to go outside.
