Meet Chance – So Full of Hope Abandoned, suffering, and covered in horrible mange... all Chance hoped for was someone to care. Imagine being just a year old, all alone in the world, with no warm bed, no gentle touch, and no one to comfort you when your little body is hurting. Chance didn't understand why he had been abandoned. He only knew he was suffering and needed someone to give him a chance. Thankfully, someone finally did. When Chance was found, he was suffering from horrible mange, and his poor skin needed serious care. It's heartbreaking to think about what this tiny boy endured all alone. But his story didn't end in sadness. He was rescued, received the care he desperately needed, and began his journey toward a happier life. This precious 12-pound boy is steadily healing, and although his skin will continue to recover, his sweet spirit is already shining. Despite everything he's endured, Chance has blossomed into the most wonderful little love bug! We're guessing he's a Chiweenie and Jack Russell Terrier mix, but whatever his mix, he's 12 pounds of pure sweetness! He loves other dogs, cats, and kids, and he's ready to fill a home with happiness. Now, Chance needs one more miracle: a forever family. He deserves to know what it's like to be someone's beloved little companion. To curl up in a cozy bed, receive endless belly rubs, and wake up every morning knowing he's safe and loved. He has already survived so much. Now it's his turn to be cherished. Please don't let Chance's difficult past—or his still-healing skin—keep you from seeing the beautiful soul he is. He's come so far and has so much love left to give! Imagine how much joy 12 little pounds of sweetness could bring into your life! Chance doesn't need a perfect past. After we receive your application and review it, we will contact you. Thank you! Biscuit is a cute little 11-lb. Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who looks primarily as a Dachshund and is looking for his forever home and family. He's . about 13-years old, but he certainly doesn't act like a senior... he still has plenty of energy and enjoys exploring his yard and going for long walks. In his foster home, Biscuit gets along well with the other small dogs, both big and small. Even though he does well with other dogs, we feel he'll also do well as an 'only dog', as long as he has human companionship. A retiree or someone who works from home would be perfect for this little gentleman. Biscuit is well housetrained and crate trained, although he doesn't need a crate. . Biscuit gets along with everyone, young and old. He loves going for walks, and walks well on a leash. When home, Biscuit enjoys sitting next to his favorite person or chilling in his comfy bed. Fortunately, he doesn't jump on furniture by himself... he asks to be picked up. Biscuit is neutered, microchipped, current on his Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations, and tested negative for Heartworms. . Biscuit's adoption fee is $400.00. We accept checks or cash for adoption fees... sorry, we do not take cards. Biscuit is a loving, sweet, and smart little boy who deserves only the best home and family! Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a three-week trial period with all of our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adopting family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have their perfect 'forever' home! Although Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, we never ship or transport our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.

Sweet Cali was my Godmother’s love of her life. Last year she passed away at the age of 78. My Godmother did not have children (just me - her little girl) and her pups! Her Boyfriend was supposed to take care of them and he fell short and sweet Cali was rescued from that situation. I have had Cali & her sister Hunny for over a month now and have nurtured back to health & now due to have 6 dogs of my own I need to find an amazing home for her & her sister Hunny (Lab). I would love to keep them together but also understand that is not always possible. these pups have been through so much and i want them to have the best life.
