She is quite possibly **one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet**. Once Lilly trusts you, she loves deeply and wants nothing more than to be close to her person. But there is something important her future family needs to understand: **Lilly is scared. Really scared.** New people, unfamiliar places, sudden movement, noise, and changes in her surroundings can overwhelm her. Her first instinct is not aggression—it is to **run, hide, and make herself disappear until she feels safe**. That means Lilly does not need someone who expects her to become their best friend in five minutes. She needs someone patient enough to let **her decide when five minutes becomes five days—or five weeks.** And when she finally comes to you on her own? That trust will mean everything. One of his standout qualities is his excellent recall—when Arkie is called, he pays attention and comes running. Arkie is not completely house trained yet, so his adopter needs to be willing to finish the job. The good news? He loves going outdoors and is very willing to learn. Annie Provac is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!    They say the best things come in small packages, and Annie is here to prove it! Annie may be tiny but her heart has endless room to love.  She adores being with her people and does well with other dogs as well as cats. She is fearful of men therefore slow introductions with them are important; Annie just needs your patience and a few days to warm up to them! She's a pint-sized girl who has a lot to say - she takes her job as greeter and neighborhood watch very seriously. Annie is house trained and crate trained. She prefers wearing a harness and loves to go for walks!
