Meet Fortune Cookie! Cookie is a sweet little chihuahua who loves her people and melts into snuggles. She's a snuggly lap dog but has got a spunky and playful personality and she needs to use up her energy sprinting around the yard doing zoomies, rough housing with other dogs, or confidently exploring the neighborhood on walks. Cookie is fearful when meeting new people and she brings her big girl voice out, though at 12 lbs she doesn't ever effectively intimidate anyone. Due to her being nervous and needing some time to warm up, Cookie would do best in a teens+ household with a patient family willing to go at her speed (and bribe her with snacks). Cookie did come in with another dog, Snoopy, and she does enjoy his company - they are able to be adopted together as a bonded pair or separately. Cookie is in our special adoption program which provides additional pre and post adoption counseling to set adopters up for success. Reed's Story Reed the Puggle loves to snuggle! He was part of a cruelty case in Louisiana with his mom and siblings and American Lab Rescue stepped in to save them and find forever homes. At only 4 months, Reed is sweet, smart and snuggly. He loves to go for walks and play with his toys and chill on the couch. Good cats, kids, dogs, car rides, and loves everyone he meets.

Introducing Glinda! Glinda is heart-meltingly adorable in every possible way. At just 12 weeks old and a tiny 4 lbs, this tiny Chihuahua looks like a living stuffed animal — from her sweet little face and big, expressive eyes to her dainty paws and delicate frame. She’s the kind of puppy people stop mid-sentence to gush over. Glinda is incredibly loving and affectionate and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She happily melts into your arms, loves being carried around, and follows you like a tiny shadow. Curious and playful, she enjoys exploring, but she’s happiest when she’s being held or snuggled. She truly loves everyone she meets and does great with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find her forever family — one lucky home that will get to love this perfect little girl for a lifetime. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up.
