Story
Meet Easton! This 3-year-old, neutered male Cockapoo is a purebred sweetheart looking to be the king of your castle. He was surrendered to our rescue due to major life changes in his previous home; after welcoming children and preparing for an upcoming move, his family could no longer care for his needs. He is fully house-trained and completely ready to slide right into a loving home routine.Easton is a certified "velcro dog" who lives to be by your side. His favorite activity is simply being near his people, and he thrives in a home where someone is around most of the day. While he strongly prefers company and dislikes being left alone, he is a good boy who will tolerate his crate when necessary.True to his big personality, Easton insists on being an only child. He packs a lot of bravado into a small package and likes to be the boss of every other dog he meets. For this reason, he needs a pet-free home where he can receive 100% of your love and attention. If you want a loyal, affectionate, and truly devoted companion to shadow your every move, Easton is your boy! For our quicker response, go ahead and text us at 323-561-6897

Story
Cookie is a true ‘lap dog’! Wants to be in your company all the time. Doesn’t like being left alone. Granddaughters support dog previously. Think dog needs adult support. Was a rescue dog from pound. Use no neck leash, only harness. Loving personality. Stares at other dogs, doesn’t bark at them. Since I travel & fly a lot, can’t keep Cookie. Don’t want the restriction either. Granddaughter unable to have dogs where she now lives. Please find someone to give Cookie love & stable home she deserves. I’ve gone as far as I can in her care. Her needs are more than I can provide.

Story
Meet Millerl! He is the sweetest boyl! He is a 2 year old that was rescued from a breeding farm before heading to a dog meat farm in South Korea.  We have partners we work with there that pull these dogs from the worst horrors imaginable.  Many of these dogs start off in horiffic puppy mill type facilities on tiny rabbit cage size wire crates in complete filth.  If they are not sold at 6 or 8 weeks then they either stay for a couple years to be used to breed more and then are sold off to the meat trade, or they are sold off right away.  Jindo's and Tosa's are the most common meat type dogs, and are very commonly bred specifically for their meat and the meat farms also act as breeding farms until they reach a good age and weight. South Korea is one of the only countries that actually farms dogs for their meat.   Restaurants will serve a dish called " bosintang ", which stands for "dog meat soup". It's a popular dish in South  Korea,  and is said to act as an aphrodisiac for men.    Little dogs are used for elixirs and potions.  The younger generation is mostly against this practice and many choose to not eat them, and we can only hope in time with education and generations of change that an end will come to this horrific trade. Miller and some of his family and friends have been flown here for a chance at a future and a real life.  These are miracle dogs that they are alive today.  Our adoption fee is $600 which helps offset some of the flight costs.  If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application form at  https://form.jotform.com/oscarlucy/dog-adoption-app September 10, 2026, 11:18 pm

Story
Meet Piper! Piper is a 8 year old Maltese mix weighing 15 pounds, and she is pure sweetness wrapped up in a fluffy package. This easy going girl absolutely adores attention and lives for a good snuggle. She’s happiest simply being by your side, whether that’s relaxing on the couch or following you from room to room. Piper gets along wonderfully with everyone she meets, dogs, cats, and of course, her favorite people. She has a calm, gentle nature and adjusts beautifully to her surroundings. Piper is both deaf and blind, but don’t let that fool you, nothing slows this girl down! She confidently navigates her world using her amazing sense of smell and touch. She even wears a halo to help her move around safely, and she’s completely comfortable with it. Piper doesn’t see herself as different, and neither should you, she’s just as joyful and loving as they come. Because of her special needs, Piper will require a compassionate and patient adopter who understands that she relies on consistency, touch, and reassurance. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty and endless love. She would thrive in a variety of homes and is simply looking for a family to call her own. Come meet this sweet girl today, you just might find your perfect little shadow.
