This sweet girl was found tied to a fence on a street corner by my son. She was matted, dirty, cold, and hungry. The vet said she’s not microchipped and is no more than 2 yrs When my son removed the leash, her personality instantly came out; she started running around, wagging her tail, and showing how happy she was to be free. Despite what she;s been through, she is incredibly gentle, loving, and trusting. We since bathed and shaved her, and she is so much happier and more comfortable now. She loves to play, cuddle, and be close to people. She does great with other dogs and people and has a very sweet, affectionate nature. She is not potty trained yet, so she will a need a patient home willing to help her learn, but she is eager to please and responds well to kindness. 12/1/25- Pepper came to us with her puppies about 2 and half months ago. Now is her time to shine. She is a wonderful . Sweet but shy pup. She loves all dogs of all sizes. She is very passive and shy. She does wiggle her cute butt like crazy but will dance around debating if she should come pick your hand. She is great with children. If you have the time and patience to give. You will never regret her. She had a very gentle spirit and lots of love to give. She rides well in thr car. Lilly was brought into a veterinary clinic to be euthanized because she had become "inconvenient". One of the vet techs (along with the vet) decided against that route and took her to the Carson shelter for a temporary hold until a rescue could be found. We could not say no. Lilly is sweet, even tempered and loves to take walks. She is a very good eater (and could actually stand to lose a few pounds) Medically, Lilly had some issues. She had a badly injured right eye which had to be removed. There was also the issue of an umbilical hernia and four mammary tumors. All of which have been take care of. Lilly's foster says she is an absolute delight! Having one eye doesn't slow her down and neither does her age. Sherlock is ready for his furever home!! We rescued Sherlock from Harbor shelter back in December. Poor guy has had a rough go of things. It’s very obvious he was abused and has some trauma we’ve been working through. He spent several months with one of our trainers working to build confidence and has come a long way. Sherlock is now settled in with a foster and is doing very well. He’s around 2-3 years old and a poodle mix of sorts. He warmed up very quickly to his foster mom and is super affectionate. He takes a while longer to warm up to men, which is understandable. He will need patience there and someone committed to continuing to work through this and help him build more confidence around men. He LOVES his walks and other dogs. He follows the other dogs in his foster home around everywhere. He would do best with a confident doggie buddy in his furever home. He couldn’t care less about the cats in his foster home and has really settled in wonderfully. He loves his crate and does well in there for several hours at a time as needed. Sherlock will thrive in a patient home with another dog and loving people willing to continue to show him the world and that people aren’t so scary. In return you will get a velcro cuddle buddy who just wants to be your best friend.
