Story
We are so happy to have our sweet girl Curls with us. After being returned to her owner from the shelter last year, Curls sadly found herself back in the shelter again within a year, this time severely neglected. Once her painful mats were shaved away, she immediately felt like a brand-new lady and her true personality began to shine. Curls gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine friend to play with. She is also okay with cats. She adores her toys, has a hearty appetite, and is house-trained, including knowing how to use training pads. She has just the right amount of sass, is incredibly affectionate, and is an absolute delight. While Curls isn’t a fan of car rides, this is easily managed with medication. She prefers not to wear a harness or sweaters, but makes up for it with endless charm and love. Curls is scheduled to have two small mammary tumors removed in January. The largest has already been removed and was benign, and these are expected to be the same. Once healed, she’ll be all set and ready for her next chapter. Curls is 10 years old and weighs 8–10 pounds, and she’s ready to charm her way into the heart of a lucky family.

Handsome Beau is a Poodle mix with a bit of a sad story. He was found wandering as a stray, and when he was brought to us, we discovered that he was microchipped. We went to great lengths to contact the listed owner, but unfortunately, they never responded to our outreach. This means wonderful Beau is now officially looking for a loving, permanent family to call his own. Born on 7/26/24 according to his previously registered microchip, Beau is still a young pup with a lifetime of adventures ahead of him. His finder reported that he did well in a home with both a dog and a cat, but he was in another home overnight and he didn't much like their cats while he was there, so it seems Beau is picky with his feline-friends. A slow, careful introduction or a no-cat household would be best for little Beau. Beau is a gentle and friendly companion who will thrive in a home that offers him structure, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. He is neutered and vaccinated, and his existing microchip will be transferred to you upon adoption. The $350 adoption fee covers his neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, and the microchip transfer. Marshall came to me through a private arrangement, and I’ve been caring for him since then. He is approximately 7–8 months old and has grown into a sweet, gentle, and affectionate young dog. He loves being around people, enjoys cuddling, and does well with routine and structure. Marshall is crate trained and is doing well with potty training. He is currently learning outdoor potty habits and continues to improve every day. He has a calm temperament, no known behavioral issues, and is very easy to care for in a home environment. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been well cared for. Due to changes in my work schedule and financial limitations, I’m unfortunately unable to provide the long-term care and stability he deserves. Marshall would do best in a home where he can receive regular companionship, gentle guidance, and continued training. He would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, loyal, and affectionate dog.
