Story
.DOB 12-28-2024 Fuzzy, happy and sweet. This gorgeous little girl is ready for her home and family. Up to date on shots and all medical. Colette is social, loves to play and gets along with everyone. Colette will be around 25 pounds as an adult, she is spayed, heartworm negative and is on ProHeart6 heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is 750.00, transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Sweet little Heidi was originally called Houdini and while she will perform some magic tricks, like making your spot on the couch disappear, you certainly won't have any trouble finding this snuggle bug! She is a certified Very Good Girl, gets along great with other dogs, and as soon as you bring her home you'll wonder how you ever lived without her! If you'd like to know more about the pup, we'd love to hear from you! Heidi is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
🚨🚨🚨🚨LOCAL PUP IN NEED🚨🚨🚨🚨 👉👉👉👉👉COURTESY POST👈👈👈👈👈 Sammy is looking for a new family! This local boy has lived in the same home for 3 years but his humans just feel he’d be better suited for a solo pup household. Sammy gets nervous and intimidated by his fellow canines, and in response reacts with growls and nips. Some kitty friends are more to this pup’s liking, but no crazy kittens please. High energy, chaos and instability are just not for Sammy. He is looking for a home that can provide him with structure, a low key household that can give him time to decompress. Sammy himself is a low energy guy that loves a good nap and day of lounging after his walks. He is house and crate trained, in addition to having basic manners and obedience inside the home. Like most hounds this boy is highly food motivated, which leads to the occasional stolen snack or garbage raid. We do know that Sammy is a Beagle/Cocker Spaniel mix weighing about 25lbs. If you think you can help this fella out email nelly1807@aol.com today. Location: Monticello, NY

Story
Meet Sarah, a young adult (approx. 9 months old) spayed female Brittany Spaniel/Beagle mix, weighing about 31 lbs!  Sarah is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 5/30. We are accepting applications on her now! Sarah is a little timid with new people so she can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how she settles in before committing to adoption. Her foster said, "Sarah is a love and a little shy initially but then loves to be with her people! She is progressing great as far as potty training & crate training go. No accidents for a couple days now!" Sarah is medically up to date, crate trained and currently progressing well with house training. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2739681##
