Story
Everyone say hello to Cocoa!!! Cocoa is a sweet and docile 12 year old/ 27 lb chocolate boy who was given up by his family after a lifetime of loyal devotion to them- sadly this happens thru no fault of a dog- people just "move on" to the next chapter of their life and discard their senior pets. BUT not to worry- FCCR has a heart for seniors and Cocoa is one very special and loving boy- this little man is absolutely a golden child with perfect manners to go along with him. Cocoa only sees shadows due to mature cataracts and he is a bit hard of hearing - nonetheless he will follow you when treats are being handed out and will explore the yard with his four-legged foster siblings too. Cocoa is looking for a friend and companion that will embrace him in his senior years...and he will in turn devote himself to you . If interested in adopting our golden child with regal manners please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $275.00

Story
Hiiiii FCCR Friends!! My name is Milo and the nice ladies here recently welcomed me with open paws. I am a handsome 9 year old gentleman who is looking for a walking buddy to help me work on my New Year’s resolution to loose a little weight (I am 32 lbs right now 🙃). I have big brown eyes 💕 and those gorgeous cocker curls when my fur grows in (see my arrival pix before I got a groom). I am friendly and get along with other dogs but not sure about cats. I like my humans but not their little ones so a home with no kids or older kids would be best. I have a big heart 💗— which I already knew — I’m a cocker after all! 😆 If you are interested in adopting me, please go to the FCCR website, https://www.floridacockerrescue.org/ to submit an application. Story
Meet Mykah, a magnificent looking 4 year old, 28 lb cocker spaniel boy. If you are looking for an exercise buddy, he is your boy! He still has the energy of a puppy and needs an active adopter/family — he gets a 40 minute walk each morning, swims every day in his foster’s pool and 2 hours of play in the backyard in the evening and could go longer if his foster dad let him. He loves to run in the yard where he has taken up the time honored tradition of chasing squirrels. He loves toys and balls (and does not like to share them) and has found every last one in his foster home. Mykah loves to go on walks and is strong! He wears a harness without issue and is working on his leash walking skills. He will need continued training to become more secure when he sees other dogs and cyclists. He is dog selective — good with his foster brother, an older dog but NO CATS. Mykah is very snuggly and affectionate with his chosen human and attaches to that person quickly. As such he needs an ADULT ONLY home (NO KIDS). He does ok in the car but needs to be crated (which he is fine with). He has a great appetite - no worries there - and has developed a taste for cheese. He is great for brushing, grooming and ear cleaning. Mykah prefers someone to be home more often than not and will bark when left alone or wants your attention. For that reason, we are looking for an adopter with a single family home, a fenced-in yard with pool and where he will not be left alone for long periods. If you would like to make Mykah a forever member of your family, please complete an application through our website: www.floridacockerrescue.org. His ADOPTION FEE is $350.

Story
Helloooooo there! My name is Royal, and at two years old and only 20lbs, I'm a boy in the prime of my life! I know I look like a Springer Spaniel but my size and weight are more like a Cocker Spaniel…either way I'm the perfect size for adventures and cuddles alike. I am a VERY active boy and foster Mom says I’m a bit of a clown...one of my greatest joys is chasing reflections from mirrors. 😂 There's something magical about those shimmering spots of light that I simply cannot resist. But if you really want to see my eyes light up, just throw a ball. 🎾 Oh my goodness, BALLS! I can play for HOURS in the backyard!! They're my absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world. And toys? I love them all, especially the squeaky ones. That squeak-squeak sound is like music to my ears! My foster sister is a Springer Spaniel, and we get along great...we share toys and have the best playtimes together. I would really love to have a canine sibling in my forever home. I haven’t met any cats but I might chase them or kids but since I’m a ball of energy I think I would do best with only older children. I have wonderful house manners and when bedtime comes, I happily trot into my crate. It's my special den where I can rest after a day of adventures. Oh and car rides are exciting too! I sit nicely in my crate and watch the world whiz by through the windows. Now, can we talk about food for a moment? Because I LOVE food. Meal times are basically the highlight of my day. And peanut butter? It's like doggy heaven in a jar! Don't worry though, I'm very polite about treats. I take them gently and I've learned to wait my turn—though the drool might give away my excitement! Oh! And I almost forgot to mention my greatest passion: WATER! Puddles, bowls, kiddie pools—if it's wet, I'm in it…and you can always tell by my calling card…a few muddy paw 🐾 prints! 😂 My foster family fills up a little swimming pool for me and I could splash around for hours. What do you say? Could you be my forever family? I promise to fill your days with joy, laughter, and maybe a few muddy paw prints of love! You can submit an application through the rescue website, www.floridacockerrescue.org. ADOPTION FEE: $395 MORE PICTURES OF ROYAL COMING SOON!

Story
Are you looking for a golden gal to share your life? My name is Chloe and I’m 11 years young and a svelte 25 lbs. I have beautiful chocolate cocker spaniel fur and love to snuggle. 🥰 I get along with other dogs but really love to be with my humans more. My Foster Mommy says I’m super sweet and very loving…I give lots of kisses. My favorite place to be is in my human’s lap even when she is driving!! Oops. 😂 I am up for going on adventures - whether around the block walking and meeting new people or taking a car ride for errands or lunch out! I haven’t met any cats but I bet I would ignore them and I think older, calm kids would be ok. I don’t understand what toys are but love to take foster Mommy’s socks and carry them around…she gets them back later. 😆 If you would like to make me a member of your family, please complete an application through the website, www.floridacockerrescue.org. Story
Good day all! My name is Jackson and I am a 7 year old 33 lb cocker boy in search of my forever home. As you can tell form my pictures I am a very handsome fella but of course I have more great qualities than just the good looks LOL. Foster mommy says I have impeccable house manners, know basic commands and get along great with most dogs my size or smaller....it's the big ones that I bark at and seem to be afraid of. I also bark at strangers when I'm taken on walks ( I do pull a bit so that needs to be worked on) or when I see them pass by the front of the house...maybe it's the protector in me, but foster mommy is working with me on the barking thing- aside from that she says I am a VERY smart boy and a cuddle bug at heart...and of course she be right! I love attention, giving and receiving kisses, back scratches, tummy rubs etc etc. If interested in providing me with a forever home and making me a part of your family please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $350.00
