Story
This is a courtesy post for the owner of this dog.  You will not be adopting from Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue. Please contact the owner directly through the contact info provided below. Brave is a 2 year old cocker spaniel. This is what his foster family says about him... Brave is two years young and looking for his forever family.  Brave is crate trained, potty trained and knows to sit, wait, leave it and place.  He is very smart and food motivated!  He is neutered, up to date on all of his shots and behaves well at the vet.   Brave and his Foster Mom are working with a Trainer to address his reactivity when walking on a leash.  He will need someone who is willing to keep up the training he has done so far and can continue to make progress.   Brave loves adventure, playing with his toys, hunting for them in hide and seek play and especially going for walks.   He would do best in a home without other pets and with older kids and he is very used to kids coming in and out.  Brave needs someone to be patient because he can have his guard up at first but he is  just frightened of new people sometimes and you will see his tail wagging.  Once he gets to know you, Brave can be very loving and is happiest by your side or lying on his bed near you.  He is such a sweet boy and has so much love to give!   If you are interested in making Brave part of your family, please contact Beth at sharackb68@gmail.com        August 16, 2026, 2:25 pm

Story
Bailey came into the shelter with her brother Beacon when her caretaker became to ill to care for them. They previously lived in Arizona with their mom who passed, and her best friend drove them back to NJ and has been caring for them. Unfortunately, they need another good-hearted person to take them in together. They will not be adopted separately they are very bonded. Baily does have some vision loss but in great shape. She loves to bounce around and soak up love and attention. She is house broken and walks pretty good on her leash, she also has basic training and is a sweet lady. So, if you can give Bailey and beacon a soft spot to land, please come meet them.

Story
Beacon came into the shelter with his sister Bailey when her caretaker became to ill to care for them. They previously lived in Arizona with their mom who passed, and her best friend drove them back to NJ and has been caring for them. Unfortunately, they need another good-hearted person to take them in together. They will not be adopted separately they are very bonded. Beacon is very low key and prefers a quiet life while his sister Bailey goes off and plays around. Hes more of a snuggle bug. He is cat friendly and tends to avoid kids when they are around. Beacon does have some bad teeth and does need a dental. He has some vision and hearing loss, but he is an old man after all. Hes still spunky and loves a squeaky toy but you do need to be a little cautious with treats and food because he feels he`s racing his sister for it! He could accidently nip a finger in the heat of the moment but not intentionally. If you think you can offer Bailey and Beacon a safe home to retire to please don`t make them wait to long. They deserve a soft bed and a loving home.

Story
Hi, this is our lovely and his name is Zion! He was being given away but a lady saying she couldn’t keep him and we decided to take him in. He’s turning 2 on August 16 so he’s still very much puppy energy - i am looking for someone who’s loving, patient and considerate with him since all he thinks about it’s play time hahaha. I would describe him as a very energetic and playful dog, he loves to cuddle and sleep with people, loves attention and it’s very attached to whoever they met also extremely smart and learns pretty quickly.

Story
Clover (Buddy) is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Shi tzu mix who needs a new forever home! He also responds to the name “Buddy”.Clover just loves a nice long walk with a person he loves. He is a curious boy and enjoys sightseeing during his walks.Clover attaches quickly to one person and is fearful of those he doesn’t know. He has shown some protectiveness over his previous owner. We recommend he be the only pet in the home.Clover lights up when it’s time to play! He has a blast playing with his toys and can be protective of them as well. A potential adopter would need to visit several times in order to win his trust and get to know him. This pup has so much potential if given the time and patience that he needs. An adopter would need to commit to working with a trainer as needed to help him build his confidence and learn to trust others. Due to his special needs, we are only seeking a local adopter who lives in a single family home.Clover is neutered, microchipped, heart worm free, approximately 30 pounds, and up to date on all vaccines. If you’d like to meet this handsome boy, please email adopt@bobbicares.org to arrange a visit appointment. All of our adoptions are local only.
