Brave is a 2 year old cocker spaniel. This is what his foster family says about him... Brave is Two years young and looking for his forever family. Brave is crate trained, potty trained and knows to sit, wait, leave it and place. He is very smart and food motivated! He is neutered, up to date on all of his shots and behaves well at the vet. Brave and his Foster Mom are working with a Trainer to address his reactivity when walking on a leash. He will need someone who is willing to keep up the Training he has done so far and can continue to make progress. Brave loves adventure, playing with his toys, hunting for them in hide and seek play and especially going for walks. He would do best in a home with older kids and he is very used to kids coming in and out. Brave needs someone to be patient because he can have his guard up at first but he is just frightened of new people sometimes and you will see his tail wagging. Once he gets to know you, Brave can be very loving and is happiest by your side or lying on his bed near you. He is such a sweet boy and has so much love to give! I'm a little stubborn but nothing a few pieces of salami can't fix. I am relaxed, love to sniff everything, and enjoy being outside in the sun. I'm a little frightened by everything, so slow intros to new things it's important. I am great with kids, a little skiddish around adults who just come up and pet me and great with other dogs. I am house trained and low shed. Perfect for apartment living. 3 Keywords for your pup:Energy Level is 1 - very calm. Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: I don't like to be left alone so that's the only time I will bark. I need to see where the commotion is. Walking Manners: I like to sniff and sometimes need to be nudged to either leave or come in the house. Appetite: I love to eat and salami and cheese are my fav as treats. Favorite Things: I love to just lay next to my person. Commands/Tricks: I know what bed, sit and stay is. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. Clover (Buddy) is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Shi tzu mix who needs a new forever home! He also responds to the name “Buddy”.Clover just loves a nice long walk with a person he loves. He is a curious boy and enjoys sightseeing during his walks.Clover attaches quickly to one person and is fearful of those he doesn’t know. He has shown some protectiveness over his previous owner. We recommend he be the only pet in the home.Clover lights up when it’s time to play! He has a blast playing with his toys and can be protective of them as well. A potential adopter would need to visit several times in order to win his trust and get to know him.This pup has so much potential if given the time and patience that he needs. An adopter would need to commit to working with a trainer as needed to help him build his confidence and learn to trust others.
