Amelia is a 4 year old spayed female cockapoo who weighs 21 pounds. These dogs came to us from a good samaritan that rescued them from a bad situation. Amelia came to us filthy and unsure, but she was wonderful for grooming and is a little velcro dog. Since going to foster, Amelia is loving her new life and follows her foster mom everywhere. She loves to be with people, has tested well with other dogs, walks ok on the leash and is doing well with potty training. She settled right in and does the steps, goes on the couch and loves to sleep in bed. Do you have room in your home for this cutie!? Meet Elliott! He and his 'sister,' Olivia, ended up in the shelter after their owner was evicted. I'm not sure who took them in, but the employees weren't even told their names. As soon as they could leave, Miss Vivienne was there to pick them up.   Elliott came bounding out the front door of the shelter.  His tail was wagging non-stop and he was smiling from ear to ear.  He was so happy to be out and free again.  Elliott quickly walked over to the car and was beside himself when he saw Olivia was already there.  Their life was definitely taking an uptick.  He no longer had to worry about her.  (They were not allowed to be in the same run at the shelter.)   Elliott and Olivia are in the same foster home, but no longer hang out strictly with each other.  Elliott has made friends with several of the resident dogs.  They run and play and have a huge time outside, weather permitting.  They also all lounge together inside.  Elliott loves his foster mom and frequently wants to be petted.  He has learned the doggie door so he can come and go as he pleases (and now no inside accidents.)  This little guy gets along well with everyone.  He is even good with the resident cats.   Elliott is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
