Story
Maebelle is what you call a Parti Cocker Spaniel, a beautiful black and white girl that needs some stability in her life with the start of this new year.   At 2 years of age, she is 21 pounds and looking for a quiet and strong family with leadership training skills and a love for a smart dog breed. This sweet, silly, tail-wagging pup is pure joy wrapped in fur.  From the moment you say hello, her tail starts going a mile a minute. She has a goofy sense of humor with her over the top rolling in the grass, jumping over the couch like a cat and full body hugs. Maebelle is affectionate and gentle like the demure little girl she appears to be.  She thrives on love and attention and most of all needs a really final home to call her own.  Cocker Spaniel experience is a good thing too!  Belly rubs?  Yes please.  Cuddle time on the couch?  Even better.  Want a dog that will be your shadow as you go room to room doing your household chores?  Oh you can count on that for sure.  She just wants to bask in the presence of her favorite human when you are home.  She can be bouncy but will also settle down after she gets her excited wiggles out.  She can be a serene girl who will make you feel like you the most important person in her life.  Maebelle needs a calm home environment.  Not a lot of coming and going people with intense activity every day.  She is a little lady that could help you read a book cover to cover and not make a peep.  She is in a foster home where she will stay until Critter Cavalry Rescue finds the perfect mature family, couple or person.  If you are interested in this girl please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 13, 2026, 6:14 pm

Story
Amelia is a 4 year old spayed female cockapoo who weighs 21 pounds. These dogs came to us from a good samaritan that rescued them from a bad situation. Amelia came to us filthy and unsure, but she is starting to warm up after a nice bath and we hope that she will be spoiled rotten for the rest of time. Amelia would do best in a home with another dog and a fenced in yard to help her feel comfortable. She has tested great with other dogs, seems to be crate trained and just needs a patient home willing to give her a chance. Story
Meet Victoria, a sweet and gentle Ruby King Charles Cavalier, whose charming personality is sure to captivate your heart. At six years old, weighing 25 pounds, and having originated from a commercial breeder, Victoria boasts a multitude of endearing qualities. This loving canine companion is fully housebroken, exhibiting impeccable behavior and attentiveness. Victoria is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and ready to thrive in a warm and nurturing environment. She has a particular fondness for sitting beside her human companions on the couch or on a bed, contentedly watching television together. The term that best encapsulates Victoria's demeanor is 'content,' as she is simply delighted to be in a loving home, listening intently, and reveling in human companionship. Victoria's temperament is exceptionally well-suited to households with other dogs, cats, small children, and older adults. As a low-energy dog, Victoria requires only short walks around the block to stay satisfied. While she may not be overly enthusiastic about playing with toys, she derives immense joy from having them nearby. Her primary focus, however, remains on her human companions, eagerly awaiting attention and affection. Victoria's dietary needs are straightforward, with a preference for kibble supplemented with a spoonful of wet food. She would thrive in either an apartment or house setting, with or without other pets. It is essential to note that, as a longer-haired Cavalier, Victoria requires regular brushing every couple of days. Victoria is an exemplary travel companion, effortlessly adapting to car rides while snuggled up in her cushioned car seat. She is a versatile and well-behaved companion, suitable for various social settings. Although Victoria's background includes some neglect, resulting in initial wariness around unfamiliar individuals, she has demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability. With patience, time, and affection, Victoria has flourished in her foster environment, forming strong bonds with her caregivers. It is essential to acknowledge that Victoria has a pre-existing heart condition, which has been diagnosed and treated. She requires daily medication, which she takes without issue. Further information regarding her medical needs will be provided upon application. She is spayed, up to date on preventatives and fully vaccinated. In summary, Victoria's affectionate nature, calm demeanor, and loyal personality make her the ideal companion for anyone seeking a gentle and devoted friend. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
I'd love to introduce you to Mavie, a charming tri-color King Charles Cavalier who is patiently waiting for her forever home. Mavie is four years old, weighs 15 pounds, and is spayed. She is also up-to-date on all her vaccinations and preventatives.   Mavie comes from a commercial breeder and, unfortunately, did not have the best start in life. However, she is an incredibly gentle soul who craves attention and love from her caretakers. When she gets nervous, she appreciates a safe space, which her foster has set up as an open-door crate where she can retreat to whenever she needs some alone time.   This sweet girl is happiest when she's cuddled up with her human under a blanket, or sitting close by on a dog bed. While Mavie isn't quite familiar with walking on a leash in new areas, she is comfortable walking in familiar surroundings. She is also learning how to play with toys and loves gathering up small stuffy toys and keeping them in her safe spots.   Mavie is a low to medium energy dog who enjoys walks once she becomes comfortable on a leash, and she absolutely loves running around a fenced-in yard. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, children, and even babies. Mavie is fully housebroken, follows a regular potty schedule, and travels well in the car. Her gentle demeanor allows her to accompany her human anywhere, although she can become a bit timid in new places.   Mavie recently had dental work done, so she currently requires a wet food diet. She is an extremely loving and affectionate dog, always eager to please her human companions. She listens very well, seeks affection, and can also be content just being by your side.   Mavie is currently residing in Allentown, PA, with her foster family. If you're interested in meeting this sweet little girl, please be prepared to travel to her location. Thank you for considering giving Mavie the loving home she deserves!
