Story
.DOB 12-28-2024 Fuzzy, happy and sweet. This gorgeous little girl is ready for her home and family. Up to date on shots and all medical. Colette is social, loves to play and gets along with everyone. Colette will be around 25 pounds as an adult, she is spayed, heartworm negative and is on ProHeart6 heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is 750.00, transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Not only is this girl drop dead gorgeous, but you can probably tell by looking at her pictures, that FUN is her middle name! She has an exuberant personality…full of energy, she’s lively & outgoing, making her a lot of fun to be around! Molly seems to love everybody that she meets, adults as well as children, but she might be a little over the top for small kids. She gets along great with other active dogs…NO CATS though. She’s not always full steam ahead, she also enjoys cuddling and belly rubs at the end of the day! All this sweet girl needs now is an active family to love her and include her in their everyday comings and goings. Molly is 3 years old, weighs 27 pounds, has been spayed, microchipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Molly is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
Sweet Tori came to us after her owner fell ill and could no longer care for her. At first, Tori was confused as to why she was here and it took time for her to settle, but once she did, we were met with a happy-go-lucky gal and have really seen her personality shine. She would thrive in a home where she is given time to decompress as she's had some pretty big changes in her life recently. She enjoys her walks and being with her people. If you have a special place in your heart for seniors, apply today! 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York, PA 17406 Kennel #: 3537

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lewistown, PA Meet Bluey. He is a gorgeous one of a kind Cocker Spaniel boy who is deaf.  He was born in July of 2024.  He can be quirky and needs a very special home with no small children.  He can be moody when he is tired.  He will need a home where there is patience and understanding in his training as he cannot hear commands.  His foster dad has worked on teaching him some basic commands through signing.  We require a home with a secured fenced in yard to keep him safe because he has no recall to come when called too.  Bluey can be a true sweetheart when he wants to be but otherwise independent. He seems to enjoy the company of a larger dog in his current foster home and will sleep in bed with his people.  Experience with a deaf dog would be an ideal adopter for Bluey and someone home most of the day as he does not enjoy the confinement of a crate. Thank you for considering adoption through ODAAT. Our dedication to our animals goes beyond finding them a home; we aim to match them with families where they will thrive and receive the love and care that they so desperately deserve.  We believe in finding not just homes, but forever families for our beloved animals. Our thorough adoption process is designed to ensure that each furry friend finds the perfect match based on their unique needs and personalities. Please know that we do not rush this process, as we prioritize compatibility over speed. Your patience and understanding as we work towards finding the ideal match for both our rescues and your family means the world to us. Our applications can be found at www.onedogatatime.us. ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! CSAC is adopting Teddy and Smokey as a bonded pair. MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Teddy. I were rescued from a hoarding situation, and my rescuer asked CSAC to help find me a new home. I am friendly, but right now I am a bit nervous since I am not sure what is happening to me right now. I lived with a hoarder with a lot of other animals. My pictures show that I was not well cared for. I feel better now that I was groomed. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. I tested positive for Lyme and Anaplasmosis disease, but I am taking medication for that. I do have a grade 3 of 6 heart murmur, but everything else is ok. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. I do have dry eye, but a few eye drops take care of that. I need a home where the people are home more than away. I love my people, playing with squeaky toys, and fetching a ball. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training. I am energetic, very playful, and jump up on people. My former caretaker says that I am happy, friendly, and loyal.
