Story
Not only is this girl drop dead gorgeous, but you can probably tell by looking at her pictures, that FUN is her middle name! She has an exuberant personality…full of energy, she’s lively & outgoing, making her a lot of fun to be around! Molly seems to love everybody that she meets, adults as well as children, but she might be a little over the top for small kids. She gets along great with other active dogs…NO CATS though. She’s not always full steam ahead, she also enjoys cuddling and belly rubs at the end of the day! All this sweet girl needs now is an active family to love her and include her in their everyday comings and goings. Molly is 3 years old, weighs 27 pounds, has been spayed, microchipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Molly is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
.DOB 12-28-2024 Fuzzy, happy and sweet. This gorgeous little girl is ready for her home and family. Up to date on shots and all medical. Colette is social, loves to play and gets along with everyone. Colette will be around 25 pounds as an adult, she is spayed, heartworm negative and is on ProHeart6 heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is 750.00, transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Prince. My owner passed away so his sister asked CSAC to help find me a new home. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. I do have dry eye, but a few eye drops take care of that. I need a home where the people are home more than away. I love my people, playing with squeaky toys, and fetching a ball. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training. I am energetic, very playful, and jump up on people. My former caretaker says that I am happy, friendly, and loyal. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Bessy, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The CSAC volunteer said that I am very sweet and just loved all the attention I was receiving. I went from person to person to get love and pets. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Hello we are 2 fun loving little girls who had to start over.  Our family didn't have a lot of time to spare for us so we were crated a lot.  Our dad decided we deserved better so he brought us to the ranch.  At first we didn't know what was going on but then we made friends with the Director and this place is REALLY cool!!!  We NEVER have to be in a crate and we are never alone!!  There are always plenty of humans around and lots of fur friends and we have this big fenced in field that we LOVE!!!  We like to run and play ALL day!  We don't leave each other so the Director said not to worry she would NEVER split us up and she will make sure we only go to someone with a fenced yard that will enjoy having us running around :)If you think you might be a good fit fill out an application and if we think we should meet you we will be in touch for a 'date' :)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Well I guess some might call me an "ambulance chaser"  On one fateful Sunday I decided to chase and ambulance and was hit by it.  My owner took me to the ER where it was determined I had a compound fracture that would require a large surgery and lots of care to which my mom could not do.  The only other option was euthanization :(  Thankfully someone said to call 2nd Chance and they took me and paid my ER bill and then paid my $6600 surgery and then nursed me through 8 weeks of crate rest.  Now I am all healed and ready to start life with someone who can afford me. REQUIREMENTS fenced yard and another small dog for me to play with :) Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5.
