Story
Some dogs come into your life for a reason. We believe Stardust is one of them. Stardust is searching for the one thing she's never truly had—a person to call her own. Her soulmate. Her best friend. Her forever. While she can tolerate and even get along with other dogs, Stardust's heart is telling us she'd be happiest as your one and only. Your shadow. Your Velcro companion. The one who greets you every morning, follows you from room to room, and reminds you every day just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. Cats you ask? Although she might be “ok” with cats, we think she’d be best as the only pet in the household. Many of you have followed Stardust's journey. She is deaf and partially blind, but those are simply details—they do not define her. She has adapted beautifully and navigates the world with incredible confidence. She learns quickly, maps out her surroundings in no time, and runs with such joy and freedom that you'd never guess she has any limitations. She's incredibly intelligent, eager to learn (especially when treats are involved!), and happiest when she's close to her people. Picture this... Watching the sunset on the porch? Stardust will be beside you, resting her head in your lap. Working from home? She'll be snoozing contentedly at your feet. Heading out for an adventure? She'll be ready. At the end of the day? She'd love nothing more than a little space on your bed and the comfort of knowing she's finally home. Stardust is a petite girl, weighing just 41 pounds, and we estimate she's between 2 and 3 years old. Her perfect home is one where someone is home most of the time or has a lifestyle that allows their dog to be part of everyday life. More than anything, she's looking for connection, companionship, and the chance to love someone with her whole heart. Could Stardust be the heart dog you've been waiting for? The one who doesn't hear your voice but knows your love. The one who doesn't see every detail but sees you with her heart. The one who will be endlessly devoted, grateful, and by your side through life's everyday moments. Please help us find the person who has been searching for her without even knowing it. Story
Ziva is a lucky dog! She was absconded in a rural area where she lived out in the open field for a few months. Locals put out food but she would never come close enough for them to grab her and get her to safety. Finally someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they went out there and were able to trap her. She appeared to have had puppies recently but they were nowhere to be found. Maybe the dumper kept the puppies and dumped her??? We just don’t know. She’s great with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She does have a “momma bear” side to her and she will bark to alert you to strangers but she quickly calms down. She is affectionate but not needy, attentive and happy. Last photo is from where she was abandoned. She’s goofy and loving. Total Romantic.

Story
What can we say about Wally? Well, despite his face, he is 100% not a corgi. We dunno what he is but it’s not that. He’s actually a bigger boy than he looks at first. He’s very sweet, seems to be a medium energy level (but he mighta been lying) and a terrific hugger. He does this adorable tail vibration thing when he gets activated by something that is super unique. He’s a little serious in the shelter, but we can tell his inner goofball is in there somewhere, just waiting for an outlet. He’s really curious, and a big fan of getting brushed actually- we did that for a good while. He’s gonna need humans who can handle his size, help him find his confidence, and take him on adventures so his curiosity can be satisfied. He also appreciates being told how pretty he is and what great ears he has- so that will be a daily (or hourly) requirement for his forever humans. If you think you have the stamina to keep up with that task- head into #burbankanimalshelter and interview with Wally- see if he hires you to be his best friend. Come visit the Burbank Animal Shelter to foster or adopt Wally!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I acquired my dog as a puppy and she is now 6 years old. She is spayed, healthy, and very friendly with people. She is affectionate, loyal, loving, and enjoys being around her family. Unfortunately, she has ongoing aggression toward other dogs and has injured another dog in the home despite our efforts to manage the situation. Because of this, I am looking for a home where she can be the only pet and receive individual attention. She would do best with an experienced owner who can provide a safe, structured environment and continue to give her the love and care she deserves.
