Sage is a beautiful 10-year-old sable Rough Collie who still has plenty of pep in her step! She loves her walks, enjoys car rides (and even knows how to climb a ladder to get in!), and is great with stairs. This sweet girl is friendly with everyone — dogs, people, kids, and even babies — but she’s not a fan of cats. She adores tummy rubs, chatting with her people, and being part of the action. Sage came to us after her beloved owner passed away, and she’s now ready to find her next forever home filled with love and care. She’s recovering from some minor skin issues, so her adopter will need to help her stay comfortable with regular grooming, clean bedding, good nutrition, and lots of love. Sage is proof that age is just a number — she’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and loyalty to her next family. Is it you???? Hi there, I'm Dune! I'm a 3 month old Male smooth collie Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Hills will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission!

Ziva is a lucky dog! She was absconded in a rural area where she lived out in the open field for a few months. Locals put out food but she would never come close enough for them to grab her and get her to safety. Finally someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they went out there and were able to trap her. She appeared to have had puppies recently but they were nowhere to be found. Maybe the dumper kept the puppies and dumped her??? We just don’t know. She’s great with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She does have a “momma bear” side to her and she will bark to alert you to strangers but she quickly calms down. She is affectionate but not needy, attentive and happy. First photo is from where she was abandoned. She’s goofy and loving.

Adventure lovers, meet Roma! I’m a 2-year-old Cattle Dog mix who came in as a stray, and I’ve got the heart and energy of a true explorer. I love people, thrive at the beach, and could run through the sand for hours if you’d let me. Like many herding breeds, I’ve got energy to spare, so I’ll need a patient adopter who can help me decompress, adjust, and gain confidence at my own pace. I can be a little picky about my dog friends, but with the right tolerant pup, I could do just fine. If you’re active, patient, and ready for a loyal sidekick who will make every adventure brighter, I think we should meet.
