This goofy boy is a 4.5 yr, male neutered, mini pure bred, Australian Cattle Dog who sustained a dog bite to the face at 7 weeks of age and was rescued by his current family at 11 weeks. Currently lives with a senior cattle dog but will do best in a home without cats or children. Knows basic and advanced commands (great recall, sit, down, wait, leave it, drop it, back, watch me etc) but eager to please and learn more. Is house trained/ crate trained, does not have any destructive habits like chewing household items, marking, excessive barking or separation anxiety. Knows how to relax in the home and does not need strenuous activity. Very comfortable in the car and seems okay with loud sounds like fireworks. Will need an experienced and patient owner who will take the time to gain his trust first and learn how to manage his mild, fear based reactivity with the tools that his family will equip them with. Will make an excellent workout/hiking partner or companion if you work from home.

Peri is a 9 month old Australian cattle/German shepherd mix. She was abandoned and found near Arlington Heights, closed in the gated area of a small apartment complex. I took her to the vet for a check up and she received a clean bill of health. The vet was also able to tell that she had puppies a couple months ago and was most likely breed then dumped. Despite her difficult start she is really a sweet and loving dog. She loves to cuddle and give kisses and play. She knows basic commands like sit, down, stay and paw. She's incredibly smart and eager to learn.
