     Cooper was originally found as a stray in a camping area. Sadly. many pets are constantly abandoned in this specific area.  His finder kept him as long as she could while everyone hoped that we would find his family and that he was just lost- and not dumped.  Months went by with no leads.  Cooper now had to come to the shelter to find a new home.  He’s a sweet guy who is a bit unsure in the noisy  kennel area, but in a home environment is a cuddle bug! He is dog friendly, and even spent some time playing with my personal dog!  Cooper loves people and being loved on. Previously lived with children 8+.   Cooper is 57 pounds and estimated to be 2 years old   May 4, 2024, 1:42 pm

    My given name is Dolly Holly, but my foster family calls me Dior because I am bougie. I am an 8 year old collie mix and I weigh 55 pounds.   I am a high maintenance girl who likes things just so, I can be shy when you first meet me. I definitely prefer women to men, but will warm up once I know you. I LOVE walks and sitting outside or playing with a tennis ball, if I am in the mood I will fetch.     I love food, belly rubs, snuggling, and being brushed. I very much dislike nail trims and bathes. Yuck!    I am fine with other dogs if you introduce me properly, but ultimately, I love my person more than playing with dogs. If you are my person I will escort you everywhere. I am also fine with older kids, but I get nervous with babies and toddlers who move quickly.     I might try to sit on your lap despite being too big. Remember it's all about me!   Are you looking for that special someone to love and spoil? Hi, my name is Maggie. My mommy got me as soon as I was old enough to leave my doggy mom and I just turned 4 (Happy Birthday to me!) My mommy loves me very very much but she works very far away and is away from home for long periods of time each day which makes me sad and lonely. She wants me to have a more fun and fulfilled life so my Mommy is putting me on here to help me find a new family that can give me lots of cuddles and attention. I am super sweet and my mommy tells me I am a pretty pup which makes me wag my fluffy tail! I have kitty sisters but I'm never with them so I'm not exactly sure how I would react to them close up. I do like barking at them though! I love my people brother, especially when he gives me treats and pats on the head. I return the favor with kisses. I think I would like another people brother or sister (as long as they're gentle of course). I enjoy exploring and would love a yard too.
