Story
Breed: Border Collie Mix Sex: Male Age: 1 year old Weight: 27 lbs Good with: Kids, Other dogs, Cat unknown Meet this handsome 1-year-old, 27-pound Border Collie mix who is bursting with personality, intelligence, and enthusiasm for life! This happy-go-lucky boy is potty trained, crate trained, and always ready for his next adventure. His favorite speed is definitely "GO," and he brings a fun-loving, playful energy wherever he goes. A true social butterfly, he adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four, and his affectionate, eager-to-please nature makes him a joy to be around. As a young Border Collie mix, he'll thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to keep his bright mind busy. A securely fenced yard is ideal for his daily zoomies, and he'd be thrilled to have a dog sibling to share in the fun. Whether he's learning new tricks, playing with canine pals, or joining you on your next adventure, he's happiest when he's engaged and included. With the right family, this sweet, smart boy will be a loyal companion, enthusiastic adventure partner, and devoted best friend for years to come. Story
Meet Cricket! Cricket is a 10-month-old Collie/Poodle mix with a joyful spirit and a playful personality that will keep you smiling. This happy-go-lucky girl loves having fun and brings enthusiasm to everything she does! Much like any young pup, Cricket has plenty of energy and enjoys playtime, adventures, and spending time with her people. One thing that will make her transition into a new home a little easier is that she keeps her kennel clean and doesn't make potty messes, showing great potential for continued success with house training. Cricket is still learning her leash manners and can be quite the strong puller, so her future family should be prepared to continue working on her leash skills through positive reinforcement and consistent training. She's a smart young dog who is eager to learn and will benefit from guidance as she grows. She also gets along well with other dogs and would love a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. If you're looking for a cheerful, energetic companion who is ready to learn and grow alongside you, Cricket may be the perfect match! Cricket currently weighs about 46lbs., is approximately 10 months old (est. birth date 07/09/2025), and her adoption fee is $510. Cricket has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Cricket, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
🐾 Meet Lucy 🖤🐾 ✨ Fast Facts: 🐶 Name: Lucy 🎂 Age: 10/10/2025 ⚖️ Weight: ~20 lbs 🧬 Breed: Dachshund / Border Collie Mix 🚺 Gender: Female 📅 Intake Date: 04/08/2026 🏠 Rehoming Donation: $400 🐶 Personality Lucy is a tiny, wiggly ray of sunshine packed into a sleek little black coat. Sweet, playful, a little silly, and a whole lot lovable, this girl is full of love and life. She's gentle with everyone she meets and hands out kisses like it's her job. And then there's her signature move... the smile. 😁 Lucy shows her teeth when she's excited, and it is equal parts hilarious and adorable. It's not a warning. It's a full-on "OH MY GOSH HI I LOVE YOU" face, and once you see it, you'll never forget it. 🏡 Perfect Home Lucy would thrive with a family that loves outdoor adventures just as much as lazy couch days. She needs someone who will laugh at her goofy antics and guide her with patience as she continues to grow and learn. A home with a yard is a big plus! 🐕 Compatibility Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs Cats: Yes Kids: Unknown 🧠 Behavior & Training Notes Lucy is house trained and sleeps in her crate at night like a champ. She loves hikes through the woods, sniffing absolutely everything, and keeping a sharp eye out for squirrels. When she spots deer, she lets the whole neighborhood know with a good bark and howl. She also loves zooming around the yard chasing insects, because apparently no creature is too small for her attention. At the end of all that excitement, she's more than happy to curl up on the couch for a nap. The girl has range. 🩺 Health Lucy is missing her right eye, but it hasn't slowed her down for even a second. She plays, explores, and zooms around like any happy puppy, just with a little extra character. She is currently being vetted and will be fully up to date before going to her forever home. 📖 Lucy's Story Lucy came to us from Cherokee County alongside her sister Ethel. While parts of her story are unknown, one thing is crystal clear: this girl landed on her feet. At around 6 months old, she is still a puppy with so much growing and learning ahead of her, and she is ready for a home that will love her through every moment of it. 💌 Why You'll Love Lucy Because she will greet you with a wiggle and a grin every single day. Because she'll make you laugh on your worst days. Because she gives the best kisses. And because a tiny, one-eyed, smiling little soul who chases bugs and howls at deer is exactly the kind of magic most people spend a lifetime looking for. 👉 If you are interested in adopting, please fill out application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACPR/Dog🐾
