Story
Hello, I'm Baron Andrew, but please just call me Andrew. While I have a title, I don't use it. My siblings and I are herding breed mixes. There are seven of us and our looks vary widely. I'm just over a foot tall, weigh about 14.5 pounds, look like a smooth coat Border Collie, and have white markings on my back. I am a boisterous, rambunctious guy who loves to play with toys, run around in the yard, and sit at the fence to watch whatever goes past our pen on the bike path. I'm patient and love learning. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit, lay down, and watch. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves. At night our crates are covered to help us settle into sleep. I do use my voice, so a shared wall environment will not be best for me. I like to dig so a digging box is recommended to save your ankles from the holes. Also, I am not good with chickens as I chase them. When a cat hisses at me I run away. I do have a hobby of climbing fences. If you are interested in adopting any of the "British Pack", please research herding breeds and go to campcompanion.org to apply. Our adoption fee is $300 + taxes.

I'm just over a foot tall, weigh about 13 pounds, and look like a smooth coat Border Collie. I am a boisterous, rambunctious gal who loves to play with toys, run around in the yard, and sit at the fence to watch whatever goes past our pen on the bike path. I'm patient, enjoy learning, eat my treats slowly, and love to splash in the water bowl. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit, lay down, and watch. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves. At night our crates are covered to help us settle into sleep. Hello, I'm Duchess Fiona, but please just call me Fiona. While I have a title, I don't use it. My siblings and I are herding breed mixes. There are seven of us and our looks vary widely. I'm about a foot tall, weigh about 10 pounds, look like a rough coat Border Collie, and have spots on my snout that look like freckles. I am a boisterous, rambunctious gal who loves to play with toys, run around in the yard, keep my siblings in line, and sit at the fence to watch whatever goes past our pen on the bike path. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit, lay down, and watch. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves. Our crates need to be covered at night so we quiet down to sleep. I do use my voice, so a shared wall environment will not be best for me. I like to dig so a digging box is recommended to save your ankles from the holes. Also, I am not good with chickens as I chase them. When a cat hisses at me I run away. I am an escape artist and will climb a 4' fence. If you are interested in adopting any of the "British Pack", please research herding breeds and go to campcompanion.org to apply. Hello, I'm Earl Francis, but please just call me Earl. My siblings and I are herding breed mixes. There are seven of us and our looks vary widely. I'm about 8" tall, weigh 8 pounds, and look like a black and tan shepherd. I am a boisterous, rambunctious guy who loves to play with toys and run around in the yard. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit and lay down. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves and it is really tough for us. I do use my voice, so a shared wall environment will not be best for me. I like to dig so a digging box is recommended to save your ankles from the holes. Also, I am not good with chickens as I chase them. Hello, I'm Marquess Wrangler, but please just call me Wrangler. While I have a title, I don't use it. My siblings and I are herding breed mixes. There are seven of us and our looks vary widely. I'm about a foot tall, weigh 11 pounds, have a black and tan short coat, and a petite bone structure. I am a chill guy who loves to play with toys, run around in the fenced yard, and observe my environment. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit, lay down, and watch without barking. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves and it is really tough for us. I'm the quieter and more reserved one in this pack. I like to dig so a digging box is recommended to save your ankles from the holes. Also, I am not good with chickens as I chase them previously but I was starving. If you are interested in adopting any of the "British Pack", please research herding breeds and go to campcompanion.org to apply. Our adoption fee is $300 + taxes.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucky came to us as an owner surrender in March 2023. He was very shy when he first came to us so we didn't place him up for adoption right away. His former owners loved him but they never really let him do "normal" dog things. Lucky had never eaten dog food or even eaten out of a dish when he came to us! Our volunteers have worked really hard with him and he's now blossomed into a fun loving dog who loves to play and has learned how to "dog". He has been vet checked, neutered, and chipped. His fee of $150 is being sponsored by one of our volunteers. Lucky is looking for a very patient and experienced home. He's still shy with new people but has learned to overcome it a lot faster. He is a mix of two very smart and active breeds, both of which are known for keeping people on their toes. Lucky exemplifies both breeds with his energy level and his sometimes frustrating enjoyment of teasing and pushing the ol' envelope. It's all in good fun for him and you can almost see him laughing. He's a goober who loves to play but will settle in for some snuggling and hugs. A FENCED YARD is required for Lucky. His leash skills aren't the greatest yet so a fence will help to keep him secure. He does require some basic training in all areas but loves to learn and makes it a fun experience. An adult only home would be best (teens are fine). He LOVES the companionship of other dogs. Cats are most likely a no for him given his breed mix. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, AND spayed or neutered.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 29, 2024, 11:54 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Blu is a 6 year old red heeler who came to the shelter as an owner surrender in Oct., 2021. He's a quirky and fun loving dog who lived a life without any real boundaries or training before he came to us. Because of this, it took quite a while for him to settle in and become the happy goofball that we know and love. What a personality! He has finally been fully vet checked and neutered and his fee is $125.  FENCED YARD NEEDED Blu needs a home that is experienced with herding type breeds like him. They are not a dog for all people. On the positive side Blu is intelligent, fun loving, highly trainable, and incredibly loyal. Like a lot of herding breed types he's also laser focused on what he wants and is somewhat stubborn. He likes to be kept busy and enjoys a consistent routine. He needs an adult only home and would prefer one without other animals. Teens are fine. NOT a dog for apartment living. He enjoys car rides, too, as long as the destination is not the vet's office. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications can be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Please keep an eye on your emails after you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport.
