Story
Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This boy was dumped with siblings and is a sweetheart! He is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. He has some housetraining and also knows how to use a dog door. He has done okay on a leash and in a crate. He will need daily exercise but is not overly energetic. He is ready to get a forever home.

Story
Hi, I’m Merlin! I’m a young, goofy, lovable guy with one very important mission in life: be near my people at all times. If you’re on the couch, I’m on the couch. If you’re walking to another room, I’m right behind you. If you sit down, I may be in your lap before you even realize what happened. And if I’m not in your lap, I’ll happily park myself at your feet so I can keep tabs on you. Sometimes I’ll even give your toes a little lick just to remind you I’m still here. 😂 When I first arrived, I had a LOT of energy and apparently believed pacing around the house nonstop was a perfectly reasonable hobby. Thankfully, I’ve learned that resting is also an option! I still love my walks and getting my zoomies out, but when everyone settles down, I can settle down too. I especially enjoy a good couch-and-lap session because, honestly, I am just a baby who needs snuggles. Speaking of playing, I’ve learned FETCH! I’ll bring the ball back, although I’m still working on the whole “give it back” portion of the game. I also love tug-of-war and wrestling around on the floor. I may give you some gentle puppy-style nibbling during our wrestling matches, but I know not to bite too hard. I’m also a serious chewer, so durable toys and chew bones are very important to me. Plastic toys? Let’s just say I believe they are snacks. 😬 I’m also becoming quite the little gentleman! I’ve learned sit, down, and shake, and I have completely transformed my mealtime manners. I used to act like I hadn’t eaten in approximately 47 years and would launch myself at the food bowl. Now I go to the kitchen rug, sit, and wait. When my food is ready, I’ll even shake your hand before I eat. And yes, I do it EVERY TIME. My foster mom thinks it’s adorable, and frankly, I agree. 😎 My potty training is going really well, too! I’ve had only one accident in the past couple of weeks, and I’ve figured out that pacing by the door is a pretty good way to tell my people I need to go outside. I keep my kennel clean, too. I’m getting really good at kennel time and will even go in there sometimes just to hang out with the door open. I understand that bedtime means bedtime, and I sleep in my kennel at night like a good boy. Now, I do have a few things I’m still working on. New people make me a little nervous because, honestly, EVERYTHING used to seem new to me. I want to say hello, but then I’m not totally sure about it, so I might get a little jumpy. I’m improving every day and learning that people are pretty great. I’m also not a fan of the car. I’m slowly realizing they aren’t terrifying and will eventually watch out the window, but getting me into one still requires some convincing. Loud things like lawnmowers and leaf blowers can also make me nervous. I don’t try to run away—instead, I look to my people for reassurance or head for the door because surely someone can let me back inside. 😂 The vacuum is another work in progress, but I’m getting there! And then there’s my greatest talent: being spectacularly clumsy. I have been known to sit down and somehow fall over, run into things, get tangled in my leash, and even take an unfortunate tumble down the stairs. I’m also a sock thief. I sneak off with socks as though nobody can possibly see me doing it. Spoiler alert: they can. I’m affectionate, playful, funny, and very much still learning how to be the best version of myself. But underneath all my goofy puppy antics is a boy who just wants to love someone and be loved right back. I’ll follow you around, keep you company, snuggle you on the couch, and make you laugh every single day. I’m still young, so I’ll need someone who understands that I’m a work in progress—but if you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a huge heart, I might just be your guy. ❤️🐾 *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.*

Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $300 (in TX)

Story
Frannie is a roly-poly bundle of puppy happiness! This adorable girl has a happy little wiggle, a playful spirit, and a heart full of love. Frannie lives with her four foster siblings and thinks having a built-in puppy playgroup is the best thing ever! She loves to run, romp, wrestle, and chase her siblings around. She also gets along wonderfully with the adult pups in her foster home, so she’s already learning all about being a good little dog from the big kids. When she’s not busy playing, Frannie loves her toys almost as much as she loves a good nap. After a fun-filled puppy session, she’s perfectly happy to curl up and recharge before she’s ready to go again. Frannie is sweet, social, playful, and just an all-around great girl. She’s the kind of puppy who brings sunshine wherever she goes and will keep her family laughing with her silly antics and adorable puppy personality. Although she loves to play with her siblings, they are all ready for their own forever family to love and help her grow into her best doggie self! She will give you lots of smiles and kisses in return. Frannie is estimated to be 12 weeks old and 11 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Story
Freya is a sweetheart with the softest soul and the most adorable little puppy face. She’s the shyest of her siblings, but don’t let her quiet nature fool you, there’s a playful little girl waiting to come out of her shell! Freya has a more laid-back personality and is perfectly happy taking things at her own pace. She lives with her four foster siblings and the adult pups in her foster home, and she’s learning that the world is a pretty wonderful place. Once she feels comfortable, Freya loves to join in on the fun and play with her puppy crew. She’s a lover of cozy naps, gentle attention, and taking in all the action from a safe and comfortable spot. Give her a little patience and time to warm up, and you’ll get to see her sweet, silly, playful side shine through. Freya may be the quietest of the bunch, but she has a beautiful little personality just waiting to bloom. She would love a forever family who will give her the time, patience, and encouragement she needs to build her confidence. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her playful side comes out and she’ll happily join in on the puppy fun. If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet-natured pup who will slowly steal your heart, Freya could be your girl. She may need a little time to adjust but trust me she’s worth the wait! Freya is estimated to be 12 weeks old and 10 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown.
