Belle was adopted as a young dog by my brother and his partner. His partner died recently and my brother is in assisted living. Belle was a loved and dear pet. She’s very sweet. When we first got her, she had 3 accidents in the house. She also had accidents while sleeping which has been controlled by medication (proin er74). There have been no daytime problems since using diapers and crating. We are unable to keep her because we travel out of the country for 1-2 months at a time.

Maynard is an almost 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog who just loves everyone. Weighing about 50 pounds, he’s wonderfully social and genuinely loves meeting new people, greeting strangers like old friends who just haven’t gotten enough hugs yet.He immediately settled into his foster home upon arrival, making himself comfortable and adapting to a new routine beautifully. Maynard is fully house-trained and will happily let you know when he needs to go potty. He is smart and curious and wants to be a part of whatever his humans are doing, so would prefer a family that could be home with him more frequently than not. However, he will settle well on his own if he needs to and a long lasting chew or frozen treat, coupled with a few of his favorite toys and he settles just fine. He will thrive with an owner/family who can give him the affection and closeness he craves. He is a world class kisser and never misses an opportunity to let you know that he loves you. In the evenings, he will happily settle on the couch with you for cuddles and tummy rubs while you watch your favorite programs on TV.Maynard LOVES his walks more than just about anything, and two short walks a day are all he needs to stay happy. He is good on a leash and enjoys a leisurely pace so can stop and sniff the world as he pleases. He also has a hilarious independent streak and can fully entertain himself with strong chew toys, rolling on the couch, and playing solo games of catch. Petey is a 30-lb Border Collie mix—or a small dog with a big personality! At 2-years-old, he's a sassy younger sibling to his foster brother Max, always riling Max up in a hilarious way. Petey loves to taunt his brother with his hilariously cute "tough guy" growl when they play, making sure Max knows it's out of love, so they can end up in a classic cuddle puddle. Petey is house-trained and always eager to please. He lets you know when it’s time to go outside and is full of energy and fun. He is crate-trained, but does not enjoy being in the kennel alone. While he’s still learning some manners, he’s as sweet and good-natured as they come.Petey gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely loves having a canine buddy to play and wrestle with—his foster brother has been a huge help in bringing out his confidence and playful side. Medium About Gordy: Hi, my name is Gordy! I also respond to Gordo, Gordito, Sir Gordon, and Cheesy Gordita Crunch. I am an adorable border collie/lab mix who wants nothing more than a home to call my own--and, preferably, a ball to call my own as well. I LOVE to chase balls, and if no balls are around, I'll make do with chasing anything you throw for me--stuffies, sticks, ropes... the options are endless. My foster mom says that I'm amazingly well adjusted given my relatively rough history. I was 1 of 16 (!!) dogs rescued from a local home, and I haven't had the best care before now. For example, you might notice that I have a bit of a limp due to a wonky front foot. The vet says that this is likely caused by a ruptured tendon that didn't heal right. Fortunately, it doesn't slow me down at all! I also recently had 8 front teeth removed, including 3 of my canines, which were all fractured, likely from biting at the bars of a crate. Still, nothing can bring down my happy-go-lucky personality (except, of course, when my foster mom puts away my ball for the night). Something else you should know about me is that I tested positive for two tick-borne diseases, Anaplasmosis and Lyme. I received treatment and I don’t have any signs of chronic Lyme infection - which is AMAZING news! I will likely continue to test positive for both of these for the rest of my life due to chronic antibodies. It is possible that I could develop side effects from Lyme later in my life but for now I’m a happy and healthy boy! Here's a bit more from my foster mom: An ideal home for Gordy would be one that can give him lots of mental and physical stimulation. He really enjoys chewing on bones and bully sticks, playing tug with toys, and playing fetch. He's also a smart boy and has picked up on sit, lay down, and crate up very quickly. We're working on some new commands for him to show off! I think he'd do great with someone who enjoys having a dog that can be a companion to them on a variety of adventures! Gordy is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.
