Their litter was the result of an accidental breeding, and because of their early environment they came to us under-socialized and still learning that the world can be a safe place. While they may be shy at first, these sweet girls are already making progress and will thrive with patient adopters committed to helping them build confidence. They are looking for homes that understand shy dogs and are willing to let them settle in at their own pace. Roxy was found as a stray. Unfortunately, her owner never registered the microchip for sweet this sweet girl. She was unable to find her way home. This mix breed ( smooth collie/mountain cur, basenji) is am active girl with a wonderful combination of beauty and brains. A fenced yard is recommended. She has a natural curiosity and is eager to please. Roxy enjoys canine pals and adores humans, toys and treats. Like any girl, Roxy loves her spa days and enjoys her car rides. Roxy will be receiving basic obedience training with our enrichment team. Could Roxy be your lucky charm? Roxy weighs 63 pounds, has been vet checked, spayed, up to date on vaccines and on heartworm and flea prevention. Adoption fee is $235 cash. Pets are seen by appointment. She was adopted from SAAP and I’ve gotten permission to surrender through other resources. I’m seeking an adopter for Melon because I recently had a hip replacement and have another one pending in the near future, I am unable to provide the exercise and quality of life she deserves.
