Roxy was found as a stray. Unfortunately, her owner never registered the microchip for sweet this sweet girl. She was unable to find her way home. This mix breed ( smooth collie/mountain cur, basenji) is am active girl with a wonderful combination of beauty and brains. A fenced yard is recommended. She has a natural curiosity and is eager to please. Roxy enjoys canine pals and adores humans, toys and treats. Like any girl, Roxy loves her spa days and enjoys her car rides. Roxy will be receiving basic obedience training with our enrichment team. Could Roxy be your lucky charm? Roxy weighs 63 pounds, has been vet checked, spayed, up to date on vaccines and on heartworm and flea prevention. Adoption fee is $235 cash. Pets are seen by appointment. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $300 (in TX)

Story
Maximus is named after my youngest son. My mom received “Max” from her coworker. He wanted to make sure Maximus had a good home. At first Maximus and I would travel and explore all the great parks and everyday was an adventure unfortunately, for us work has picked up for me. I don’t spend nearly as much time with him as I used to. It makes me sad & I can only imagine how he feels. Max is playful, friendly, smart and is such a sweetheart. He listens but could use more training. If you’re patient and willing to put in the time he’ll do great. I haven’t quite mastered walking him without a leash, he likes people too much. Whether it’s to give warnings or to bum affection he loves others! Max is about 2 y/o now and his birthday is in Spring. He’s gotten some vaccines and he’s up-to-date on his rabies shots (had a wellness plan for him at Banfield Newport + Oakley). Received training at Petsmart. Looking for a loving home, preferably with a yard so he can run around freely :)

Topanga came into my care about six months ago after her previous owner faced a sudden out-of-town move. Wanting to protect her and give her a fighting chance, I stepped in as her temporary guardian. Unfortunately, my current living situation is unsustainable as I am in violation of my lease, work full-time, and must travel frequently for business.Topanga is:• House trained and leash trained• Spayed and up to date on care• Loyal, smart, and a loving companion• Best suited for an adult-only home or dog-savvy, older children• A vibrant girl who thrives on exercise and activityBecause of my current schedule, Topanga spends a lot of time crated, and I want her to find a home where she can get the activity she deserves. He came to rescue in March 2024 as a young puppy after being removed from a hoarding situation in Bandera County. Not long after arriving, Blaze and his siblings faced another challenge when they contracted Parvo. Thankfully, Blaze proved to be a fighter and made a full recovery. Today, Blaze is a happy, healthy dog with a fun-loving personality and a heart of gold. He loves everyone he meets and is always ready for an adventure. Whether he's splashing around in the water, playing with his favorite toys, or heading out for a walk, Blaze is happiest when he's spending time with people.
