Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Blaze! Blaze has spent most of his life waiting for a family to call his own. He came to rescue in March 2024 as a young puppy after being removed from a hoarding situation in Bandera County. Not long after arriving, Blaze and his siblings faced another challenge when they contracted Parvo. Thankfully, Blaze proved to be a fighter and made a full recovery. Today, Blaze is a happy, healthy dog with a fun-loving personality and a heart of gold. He loves everyone he meets and is always ready for an adventure. Whether he's splashing around in the water, playing with his favorite toys, or heading out for a walk, Blaze is happiest when he's spending time with people. Despite growing up in rescue, Blaze hasn't let that dampen his spirit. He's affectionate, playful, and eager to be part of a family. He walks well on a leash, enjoys swimming, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. Blaze is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. Apply to adopt at www.adoggie4you.org. Blaze is eligible for transport to Washington, Oregon, the Midwest, and the East Coast (excluding Rhode Island and Massachusetts due to state regulations).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 15, 2026, 2:56 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌿🐾 Meet Bergamont — aka “Bergy,” the Sweetest Little Cuddlebug Around 🐾🌿 Male • ~3–4 Months Old • Heeler Mix • Professional Snuggle Apprentice Say hello to Bergamont, lovingly known as Bergy, a 3–4 month old Heeler mix — a brave little pup who almost ran out of time at a crowded shelter, but thankfully someone noticed that this sweet boy still had a whole lifetime of puppy shenanigans left to deliver. Thankfully, he is now safe — and ready to show the world just how much love can fit inside one small, wiggly puppy. Bergy is the kind of pup who melts hearts without even trying. He’s got a gentle soul, soft eyes, and a personality that leans heavily toward “please pet me forever.” Now, Bergy may take a little moment to settle in when he first arrives somewhere new. After his rough start in life, he just likes a minute to make sure everything is safe. But once he realizes he’s among friends? Oh boy… that sweet personality comes shining out like the sun. Suddenly you’ll have a full-time cuddle assistant who thinks the best place in the world is curled up right next to you (or partially on you… personal space is optional when you’re this cute). But don’t be fooled — Bergy is still very much a playful puppy. His daily routine includes: • Investigating every toy like it’s a scientific experiment • Participating in backyard zoomie practice • Wrestling politely with dog friends • Exploring the yard like a tiny wilderness adventurer • Dramatic puppy naps after all that hard work Bergy has a gentle, slightly submissive personality with other dogs, which makes him a wonderful playmate and an easygoing companion for a multi-dog home. He’s also doing fantastic with potty training and crate training, and he actually sees his crate as his cozy little safe zone where he can recharge after a busy day of puppy activities. And here’s the secret to Bergy’s heart: snacks. This boy is very food motivated, which makes training both fun and effective. Bring treats and he’ll happily attend all your training sessions. Bergy is the perfect blend of puppy playfulness and cuddle buddy sweetness. The family lucky enough to adopt him will get a loyal little sidekick who loves adventures during the day and curling up close when the day is done. Expect life with Bergy to include: • Puppy zoomies • Toy explosions across the living room • Cozy cuddle sessions • Silly puppy moments that make you laugh out loud • And a best friend who just wants to be near his people 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Bergy the loving forever home he’s been waiting for. 🐾💛
