Story
Annie is a 7 year old coonhound who was originally adopted in 2022. Due to a move and change in the family's situation, Annie needs a new home. Annie is a very sweet dog who loves her people and loves her tennis ball almost as much. She has done well living with other dogs these last couple of years but would also be fine as an only pet or with one companion. She eagerly meets new friends at the dog park and gets along with males and females. Annie is crate-trained and loves to curl up in a ball on her bed but she would prefer to sleep with her humans if permitted. Annie is a high-energy dog and requires daily exercise. She will tirelessly play fetch and loves doing so as much as she likes her walks in the park. She would be a great running companion. Annie is vocal when she anticipates an outing or when playing ball. Annie would love a home where her owner(s) can be be with her much of the time and someone can meet her energy needs If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below. Story
Just one look at Lil Daddy's face and you'll understand why everyone falls in love with him.  That happy smile that invites to stop and play with him for a while and those adorable long floppy hound dog ears that beg for you to pet them and run them through your fingers.  He looks at you for love with some very sweet eyes and a face that makes a marks on your heart.  That is Lil Daddy.  A puppy that is irresistible and who was born around March 9th and to a litter of 9 beautiful pups to a gentle Redbone Coonhound mix mom. Like his brothers and sisters, he didn't have the easiest start in life and arrived in rescue a little underweight. Since coming to Critter Cavalry Rescue on June 29, he's been getting plenty of nutritious food, lots of love, and every chance to grow into the healthy, happy puppy he was always meant to be. Today, Lil Daddy weighs 16 pounds (7/11} and is expected to mature into a handsome 45–50-pound companion. While his mom is a Redbone mix, we're convinced there's another wonderful breed or two in his family tree. Maybe Lab...maybe Aussie...or perhaps even a little Cocker Spaniel, judging by those impossibly cute ears! Whatever his mix may be, one thing is certain—he's absolutely perfect just the way he is. A loving 'cuddle bug' is what his foster mom has labeled him.   Lil Daddy is everything you hope for in a puppy. Curious. Joyful. Smart. Affectionate. He's already using pee pads like a champ when he can't make it outside, and he's beginning to learn about crates, leashes, and all the exciting adventures that come with growing up.   This little guy wakes up every day ready to discover the world. Whether he's exploring the backyard, playing with other dogs, making friends with cats, or greeting complete strangers with a wagging tail, Lil Daddy approaches life with confidence and happiness. He truly believes everyone is a friend he just hasn't met yet.   Because he's an active, intelligent puppy, Lil Daddy will thrive with a family that enjoys spending time outdoors. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful, or an active family committed to daily walks, trips to the dog park, and plenty of playtime and training. He's eager to learn and will blossom with the guidance, consistency, and love that every puppy deserves.   Lil Daddy isn't just looking for a home. He's looking for his people—the family who will celebrate his silly puppy moments, teach him new things, laugh at his antics, and love him through every stage of life. In return, he'll fill your days with laughter, companionship, and unconditional love for years to come.   If your heart skipped a beat when you saw Lil Daddy, it may be because he's been waiting for someone just like you.   To learn more about adopting Andy, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Please tell them where you live, city and state and know that we adopt to Tennessee residents where he currently is fostered and also we transport to the northeastern corridor of states most every weekend.       > We transport to many northeastern states and also adopt to families throughout Tennessee.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 15, 2026, 7:00 pm

Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Meet Blue! he is a handsome 2½-year-old Coonhound/Doberman mix with the most stunning blue eyes you've ever seen! His soulful gaze is just the beginning of what makes him so special.  He came to rescue after his previous family made the difficult decision to surrender him because they simply didn't have the time to give him the life he deserved. Since then, he's completed a professional board-and-train program and has blossomed into a wonderful companion. He's a little shy when meeting new people, but once he realizes you're a friend, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through. He does great with people but at 70lbs would be best with older children. He loves other dogs, and would enjoy having a canine buddy—or being your one-and-only best friend. Like many dogs adjusting to a new home, he experiences a bit of separation anxiety at first, but once he settles into a routine, he does very well. He's looking for a family that will give him the consistency and love he needs to feel secure. If you enjoy the outdoors, he's ready to be your adventure partner! And if you have dog experience, thats a big plus!  Whether it's walks through the neighborhood or hiking your favorite trails, he's happiest exploring the world by your side. After a day of fun, he's more than happy to trade the trail for the couch and curl up with you for the evening. One thing you should know—he has absolutely no idea how big he is! In his mind, he's still a tiny puppy and will happily climb into your lap for cuddles. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate dog with a goofy side, beautiful blue eyes, and a heart full of love, this sweet boy could be the perfect addition to your family.   All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. July 16, 2026, 12:55 am

Story
Meet Macie – The Sweetest Hound! Macie is an absolute sweetheart with a heart full of love! She was found as a stray by her loving foster mom. She’s the ultimate cuddler and prefers to be right beside you. This loving girl adores everyone she meets, including small children, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet. Like a true hound, she has an incredible nose and a signature howl. She’s very curious about the outside world, so a secure yard or leash walks will be best for her. Macie is a dream in the car and is working on her leash manners. Her favorite things include belly rubs, snuggles, and spreading love to everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a true hound spirit, Macie is your girl!
