Story
Teddei is an 11 1/2 YO tri colored Pembroke corgi. He has been an only dog in the home since he was 8 weeks. He developed onset dementia last fall And its been absolutely heartbreaking. He needs someone to be home with him all the time. Preferably in a quiet environment without kids or other pets. Given his age he doesn’t really care for other dogs or animals. He just had a vet visit last week and his enzyme levels were low in his liver so he is on liver supplements that he needs to take daily. Other than that, he’s been absolutely healthy. He needs a loving home with lots of pets and a quiet area to hang. He loves to sit in the sun and go on walks.

Story
Kiara is a cuddly bundle of love who gets very attached to her people. She was born in Mexico but adopted here in Tempe. Details are scarce, but it is clear she had a rough first four months of life. She is terrified of wire-style kennels and loud noises. She does well with other dogs but can get annoyed by too much activity and will attempt to correct the other dog. She is very foos driven, but can become territorial over food or toys and will require trading for another valuable treat to remove or put away. Kiara is getting older so her tolerance for high energy is shorter and has snapped at our active 9-month old that is already walking. Her food-driven behavior has also become a concern. Kiara is labeled as special needs because she has a history of UTIs and bladder stones and requires a specific prescription diet to support her urinary health; without it she will develop bladder stones again.

Story
She came to us from a hoarding situation of 15 dogs where the owner passed away. Lizzy will make a great companion dog, as she is very sweet and affectionate and loyal. Lizzy will fit right into a calm household. This smart girl might be shy at first, but in the house she becomes the biggest cuddle bug! She loves to lounge and relax. She is great with all dogs and likely good with cats because she is very calm and doesn’t show a prey drive. Up to date on all vaccinations. Microchipped. Fixed. Call or text 623-284-3154

He came to us from a hoarding situation of 15 dogs. Junior will make a great companion dog, as he is very sweet and affectionate and loyal. This smart boy might be shy at first, but once he starts getting pets he loves you! He is great with all dogs, though we are unsure how he would do with cats we think he would do good because of his calm composure and he shows no prey drive. To people he is timid at first, but once he trusts you he loves you. He will fit in great with a calm household. Up to date on all vaccinations.

Story
She came to us from a hoarding situation of 15 dogs so she doesn’t know the most tricks but she is learning sit quickly!! She is easy to teach with treats. We think she is 4 years old. We think she is a Corgi/Shepherd mix. She weighs 25 pounds. Sammy loves to run around the yard chasing bugs and birds. She has a very calm, cool, and collected personality. Our sweet and mellow girl will make a great companion dog, she is very sweet and loves pets. She’s great with all dogs and people. Up to date on all vaccinations. She is very timid around new people at first, but once she trusts you she opens up so much and her personality shines. We don’t know how she does with cats but we expect she wouldn’t mind them at all, as she’s very mellow and didn’t chase free-range chickens when she had a sleepover, so she doesn’t have a prey drive.

Story
My stepson's mother had health issues. They needed us to care for the dog for supposedly a short while ended up being a permanent thing, not by my choice, because I have 3 other dogs. And my elderly mother came to live with me, and I'm needing to take care of her, and I'm disabled myself so she's a very sweet dog. Very cute. Well, mannered, I think would be a fantastic dog for an elderly couple or elderly person I just can't do all of it, and she really deserves to go to a loving home, and can give her so much love, she'll give it back..Her birthday is May,12th 2012
