Story
Meet Pawblo Picasso! This silly boy is about 4 years old and about 28 pounds, and he's a Corgi blend. Corgis are a highly intelligent breed who learn quickly and often know fun tricks. Pawblo has discovered that if he's not getting attention, occasional barking might be the cure. Pawblo can be a high energy guy and would do well with getting physical and mental stimulation. He has good leash manners, and one of his favorite games is fetch! Don't be fooled, he's not a one trick pony, he also LOVES snuggle time and belly rubs. He loves treats and would love to find a forever treat dealer to love him unconditionally. Pawblo is living in one of our foster homes and waiting to meet you!No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the dog. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Hello There! Get ready, cuz here we come! I am Bobby, and I’m David and we are quite the dynamic duo, ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and fun! Our beloved owner who took excellent care of us and loved us to pieces, passed away tragically and unexpectedly and just as tragic, we were left with no where to go. The family members have some really mean kitty cats that did not like dogs at all, so Forever Loved stepped up to give us the next best home. We went right in to a foster home with plenty of other dogs to play with, and the fosters say we are such good dogs and will be hard to give up! Make you want to learn more about us? David here - I am a 9-year-old 32lb Corgi mix and except for being a tiny bit overweight and having normal senior eye issues, I’m healthy myself. My favorite thing is chewing on nylabones and I prefer to keep them to myself. I won’t pick a fight over them, but I definitely let the other dogs know that it is mine! I think it is so much fun to dissect stuffed toys. That’s another normal doggy behavior, and it has its root in “food acquisition”. Bobby here - I’m a 5-year-old 11 lb Maltese mix, and I’m in great health. The vet said I had some gingivitis, whatever that is, but after a dental, I have nice teeth and fresh breath! My favorite thing to snuggle up with at night in my bed is my stuffed monkey toy. Speaking of food, we both are great eaters and finish our bowls with gusto. We are both very reliably house-trained, we learned to use a doggy door, and our fosters say our tails are always wagging. We have good house manners, and if we all start barking, we will shush at just a single cue. We met a child and were so happy to have someone to play with besides other dogs. Not that we don’t like other dogs, quite the contrary, we love everyone! No reason why you can’t adopt both of us together! We are nott double the work, but we do bring double the snuggles, cuddles and kisses.

Story
She came to us from a hoarding situation of 15 dogs where the owner passed away. Lizzy will make a great companion dog, as she is very sweet and affectionate and loyal. Lizzy will fit right into a calm household. This smart girl might be shy at first, but in the house she becomes the biggest cuddle bug! She loves to lounge and relax. She is great with all dogs and likely good with cats because she is very calm and doesn’t show a prey drive. Up to date on all vaccinations. Microchipped. Fixed. Call or text 623-284-3154

This smart boy might be shy at first, but once he starts getting pets he loves you! He is great with all dogs, though we are unsure how he would do with cats we think he would do good because of his calm composure and he shows no prey drive. To people he is timid at first, but once he trusts you he loves you. He will fit in great with a calm household. Up to date on all vaccinations.

Story
She came to us from a hoarding situation of 15 dogs so she doesn’t know the most tricks but she is learning sit quickly!! She is easy to teach with treats. We think she is 4 years old. We think she is a Corgi/Shepherd mix. She weighs 25 pounds. Sammy loves to run around the yard chasing bugs and birds. She has a very calm, cool, and collected personality. Our sweet and mellow girl will make a great companion dog, she is very sweet and loves pets. She’s great with all dogs and people. Up to date on all vaccinations. She is very timid around new people at first, but once she trusts you she opens up so much and her personality shines. We don’t know how she does with cats but we expect she wouldn’t mind them at all, as she’s very mellow and didn’t chase free-range chickens when she had a sleepover, so she doesn’t have a prey drive.
