Story
HANDSOME & SWEET:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 60 lbs. Hi, I’m Leon!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m so glad they brought me into the Mostly Mutts family.  I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own.  I think that is the best news ever!  Come meet me soon!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  When I met dogs at Mostly Mutts, I was reactive toward them – lunging and showing teeth, so I would like to be your only dog, please.  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no very young kids that I may bump over as I’m a big boy and I don’t seem to like restraint/hugs. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a friendly, sweet, calm boy and some of the volunteers even report that I’m a gentle giant.  The paw spa seemed new to me, but I did climb the stairs and though the bath sprayer was a bit scary for me, with the patience of my bather (and a gentler approach using a mitt and cup), I did much better and stayed very sweet throughout.  I also did fine for my ear cleaning, showing what a gentle and trusting boy I am. / Energy level: 4-6.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’ and ‘leave it’ commands and I look forward to learning more.  I’m working on my leash manners with my trainer now as I can zig zag a bit.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule with just a few accidents.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like spending time with the nice volunteers and I’m sure we’ll discover lots of things we will enjoy doing together once I’m settled in my new home. / I’m not a fan of being restrained and the bath was not my favorite thing to do, and like all dogs, I wouldn’t be happy without enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I should wear a muzzle for my vetting as I am not fond of vetting and the restraint that comes with it.  I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love and share a great life with.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 27, 2026, 6:38 am

Story
Our Zazu may not be running a kingdom like his namesake, but he definitely carries himself like he could! Also — much like his animated counterpart — his most noticeable feature is his head… which is approximately three sizes too big for his body. Zazu actually looks a little like a cartoon character, but please don't tell him we said that! Seriously. If there was ever a reason to order a DNA test just out of curiosity, this boy would be it. He’s got the head of a Malinois and the body and legs of a Corgi, which leaves us with a lot of questions and absolutely no answers. So we’ve come up with a few working theories: • If you have sheep (or ducks) that need herding — congratulations, you may have found your guy. • If you’ve always wanted a Malinois but don’t quite have the space for the full-size version — may we present the Mini-Mal™. • Or maybe he’s just a perfectly engineered 30-pound package of personality. Whatever combination created him, it works. Short little Zazu is hilarious, very smart, super social, and comes equipped with a great alert bark in case anyone forgets he’s in charge. When he met the guys for the first time, he made friends with everyone immediately — and we’re pretty sure he already believes he’s head of the class. May 22, 2026, 6:01 pm

Harvey has all the right moves! He wiggles, he squiggles, he prances and dances like a star. Harvey loves attention and will put on his best happy dance to greet you and get you to give him all the scritchies and cuddles his heart desires. This little burst of happy energy needs to be your only fellow. A low-rider, he will fit well into just about any home. We know he looks portable,  but Harvey is not down with being carried.  Est DOB: Sep 2018 * Est weight: 30# * Breed unknown - guess based on looksMarch 7, 2026, 12:01 pm

Story
Bobby is a young Corgi/Spaniel/Basset mix. He was dumped in East Texas where my family brought him in and have loved him. We recently transplanted to Matietta GA and due to landlord limitations. He are unable to keep him. Bobby loves attention and loves yo play. He is crate trained. Bobby did suffer some previous dog to dog trauma that has made him slightly anxious when meeting new friends. But he warms up very very quickly and has always been very gentle with my kids.

Story
Bella is a Corgi/Spaniel/Basset mix. She was dumped in East Texas and brought in by my family where we have loved her for a few years. Bella is hands down the sweetest pup we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She has the typical corgi attitude and loves to be the center of attention. My family has recently transplanted to Marietta, GA and due to landlord restrictions, we are unable to keep her. Bella has a loud voice, but she is extremely loyal and loves cats, dogs and kids.

Story
Boomer and Benney are loving and well-behaved dogs. Benney is a very affection dog, he loves to lay in your lap and under the covers with you. Hopefully, someone can take both, they have been together since they were puppies, but we understand how hard it can be to take on 2 dogs.
