Story
Colby is a sweet and loving dog. He loves toys, peanut butter and chicken & is very active. Colby doesn’t get along with other dogs and would do best in a one pet household. He’s very frigid and barks at almost everything. He’s impulsive thus making him hard to train and unfortunately we’ve done everything we can to motivate him to listen but no solution. Though we love him, we unfortunately no longer have the time to give him the training/care he needs. Looking for a loving home for our boy.

Story
Gigi is a beautiful and very charming 1-2-year-old Welsh Corgi who weighs 26 pounds. With her playful spirit and gentle nature, she is sure to steal your heart. Though she may initially appear a bit shy, she quickly reveals her sweet and affectionate nature. Gigi sociably interacts well with other dogs and shows a lot of interest in playing with her foster siblings. She is crate-trained and somewhat house-trained, and even uses pee pads sometimes. Gigi enjoys toys and happily plays with them alone and with her foster brothers. She also equally loves hanging out with her foster family and zooming around the yard. Common to the Welsh Corgi breed, she will use her voice to tell you what she wants, but she doesn’t bark excessively. Her foster mom would like her to find a forever home with ANOTHER playful dog and a FENCED in yard. This is required. If you're interested in adopting this sweet girl, please apply at www.orphanannierescue.org. Her adoption fee is $350, which covers her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.

Story
AN OLDER SWEETHEART:  Approx. 15 years old / Approx. 53 lbs. & needs to lose quite a bit of weight  Hi, my name is Boo! I had a loving home, but when my owner sadly passed away, a dear friend made sure I would be cared for and Mostly Mutts is helping her keep that promise. At first, I was a little stressed as my world had suddenly turned upside down, but I soon found comfort in a wonderful foster home where I’m surrounded by love.  Now, I’m ready to find the cozy retirement home I deserve. Do you have room in your heart and home for a sweet senior pup like me? If so, I’d love to meet you and see if we’re the perfect match.       • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs in my foster home, but my owner’s friend said I did well with their three chihuahuas that I went on walks with.  If you have a nice doggie at home that would like to share a home with an older guy, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.      • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a very sweet and gentle dog who has known a life of love and affection, and that’s exactly what I hope for again.  I am a social guy who is all about my people, I will quietly follow you around, happy just to be near you and keep you company. I’ve met some neighbors and was very polite with them.  I do beg for food – likely why I’m overweight, so please don’t give into that as I’m on a diet. / My energy level is 4-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t know any specific commands, and I’m not much of a barker — just enough to let you know when something’s worth noticing and I do respond to the word ‘no’ when my foster lets me know I don’t need to bark.  I’ve never believed that older dogs can’t learn new tricks, so I bet you could teach me some great doggie commands. / I have great house manners in my foster home, so there has been no need to crate me there. / My potty habits have been very good in my foster home, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy nice, easy walks in the cooler part of the day where I can sniff the world at a slower pace, then come home to relax by your side, content just to share your company. I love affection, being petted and I show my love in the simplest, happiest ways — lots of tail wags and gentle hand kisses. / I did get a little upset tummy on my last car ride, but it was the first time that’s ever happened, so hopefully it won’t be something that happens again.  Otherwise, I’m a sweet fellow who simply loves life, so I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, good care and attention. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I take a daily joint supplement that is good for all older dogs (Cosequin) to keep my joints feeling their best.  The vet doesn’t recommend a dental cleaning due to my age, but there are over the counter products to help with teeth cleaning that you may wish to use.  I also have a small growth along the teeth on my lower jaw that the vet has checked out and it isn’t causing me any trouble right now, but a vet may recommend removing it in the future if it changes or starts to bother me.  My foster is helping me lose weight by feeding me unsalted green beans and unsalted carrots as part of my meal and for treats.  No table food, so I’ll want my new family to continue my weight loss. I am looking for a great home with a wonderful family to give me the love and care I deserve in my twilight years.  My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  November 18, 2025, 8:07 am

Story
Meet Sneezy! Sneezy is one of the adorable puppies from the Snow White litter, and at about 3 months old, he’s already full of curiosity, energy, and puppy charm! He came to us with his mom (a 30-pound sweetheart) and his six siblings after being part of a large group of dogs who needed help following years of unplanned breeding. Now Sneezy is thriving and ready for his forever home. He is cuddly and loves to be snuggled by his people. He is recovering from scratches and scabs from the amount of fleas that he had on him. Within 3 weeks, we have already seen a HUGE improvement in his fur coat. He is no longer red and itchy! He is also the largest puppy in the litter. Sneezy is expected to grow to around 25–35 pounds when fully grown. His mix likely includes corgi, dachshund, and bully breeds, with a possible splash of rat terrier or Jack Russell — and yes, he’s got those classic short legs that make him extra cute. This little guy is super social, inquisitive, and playful. He loves food and is already learning to sit for treats (mealtime is his favorite time!). Sneezy enjoys playing and wrestling both indoors and outside and does great with kids and other dogs. While he hasn’t met cats yet, we think he would do fine with proper introductions thanks to his young age. Like all puppies, Sneezy is still learning important life skills, including housetraining, and will need a patient family ready to guide him as he grows. In return, he’ll bring endless puppy snuggles, fun, and laughter into your life. If you’re looking for a friendly, food-loving, short-legged puppy with a big heart and a playful spirit, Sneezy might just be your perfect match! If you are interested in adopting Sneezy, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. Story
Meet Magnum! Magnum knows he’s handsome — and honestly, he’s not wrong. Named after the iconic 80’s TV heartthrob, this guy may not be Tom Selleck, but in his own mind? Total leading man. Magnum doesn’t just walk… he STRUTS. Magnum is about 2 years old, weighs around 28 pounds (currently rocking a little extra fluff), and is a proud short king. He’s a corgi mix and very much looks the part! We were told his background includes dachshund and bully breed dogs, and we suspect there may be some jack russell or rat terrier in the mix — but those corgi genes are loud and proud. He came to us with around 24 other dogs from a situation where intact dogs were allowed to interbreed for years, and resources were limited. Because of this, Magnum is still working on housetraining. His biggest challenge is a combo of being very smart and still wanting to mark — he was recently neutered, so this behavior should continue to improve with time and consistency. The good news? He already waits by the door to go outside to poop and is crate trained. And when we say smart, we mean it. If Magnum were a few inches taller, he’d absolutely be opening doors. He already knows how to paw open a pen that isn’t secured properly, so his future family should be ready to keep one step ahead of him. He’s highly food motivated and eager to learn, which will be a huge asset in continued training. Magnum can be nervous in new situations since he didn’t get much exposure to the outside world early on, but he gains confidence quickly once he realizes he’s safe. Because he’s still learning leash skills and adjusting to new environments, a home with a securely fenced yard is a must. He would do best with someone who has prior dog experience, so he’s not recommended as a first-time dog. He has not been around cats or kids to our knowledge. Socially, Magnum does well with other dogs and absolutely melts for affection. He loves head and ear scratches, belly rubs, and soaking up attention from his people. We’re still getting to know this confident little gentleman, and his bio will be updated as we learn more. If you’re looking for a smart, funny, charming dog with a big personality packed into a short body, Magnum just might be your guy If you are interested in adopting Magnum, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete.
