Story
Our Zazu may not be running a kingdom like his namesake, but he definitely carries himself like he could! Also — much like his animated counterpart — his most noticeable feature is his head… which is approximately three sizes too big for his body. Zazu actually looks a little like a cartoon character, but please don't tell him we said that! Seriously. If there was ever a reason to order a DNA test just out of curiosity, this boy would be it. He’s got the head of a Malinois and the body and legs of a Corgi, which leaves us with a lot of questions and absolutely no answers. So we’ve come up with a few working theories: • If you have sheep (or ducks) that need herding — congratulations, you may have found your guy. • If you’ve always wanted a Malinois but don’t quite have the space for the full-size version — may we present the Mini-Mal™. • Or maybe he’s just a perfectly engineered 30-pound package of personality. Whatever combination created him, it works. Short little Zazu is hilarious, very smart, super social, and comes equipped with a great alert bark in case anyone forgets he’s in charge. When he met the guys for the first time, he made friends with everyone immediately — and we’re pretty sure he already believes he’s head of the class. June 25, 2026, 12:10 am

Story
He needs a loving home where is the only one getting attention after many attempts over the past three years he has struggled to adjust to my toddler. It is best that he’s in a home where he can be the primary receiver of affection as for the first three years of his life that’s all he was used to.

Story
Bobby is a young Corgi/Spaniel/Basset mix. He was dumped in East Texas where my family brought him in and have loved him. We recently transplanted to Matietta GA and due to landlord limitations. He are unable to keep him. Bobby loves attention and loves yo play. He is crate trained. Bobby did suffer some previous dog to dog trauma that has made him slightly anxious when meeting new friends. But he warms up very very quickly and has always been very gentle with my kids.

Story
A WONDERFUL GIRL:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi I’m Wanda!  I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home!  Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own.  I’m very excited about that, so plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I met a couple of kids at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have kids around 10 years old, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a playful, super friendly, and energetic girl with a sweet personality and an adorable face to match! The volunteers also report that I’m loving and they think I may be quite the people pleaser because I enjoy being close to my humans and soaking up attention.  I was wonderfully relaxed during my bath and even leaned into my bather for extra affection.  When I want attention, I have the cutest little whine that’s sure to melt hearts.  With my smart, loving nature and happy spirit, I’m ready to be a wonderful companion. / Energy level: 5-7.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘stay’, ‘come’, and ‘drop it’ commands and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing alright in my crate, but it’s not my favorite place to spend time. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.         • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love affection and enjoy both receiving and giving it!  Spending time with the volunteers is one of my favorite things, whether we're cuddling, hanging out, or just enjoying each other's company.  I also like toys and having fun with the people around me. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 27, 2026, 10:19 am

Story
This is Maple! We acquired her from our local fire department! Maple was a stray that wandered into the fire house. One of the fireman took her in while she was being seen at the vet for getting shots and spayed. We were then lucky enough to meet her and knew she’d be perfect for our family. The vet thinks she is around 2 years old now. Maple is truly the best dog. She is super fun, very energetic, and extremely smart. She also loves to cuddle! She is great with other dogs (we put her in doggy daycare) and fantastic with young children. Unfortunately, our life is progressing fast and we aren’t able to give Maple the attention and time she truly deserves anymore. We are looking for a new home that has plenty of space for her to run around and play (she loves her toys) and owners that will give her the time and attention she deserves. This has been one of the toughest times in our life, but we love her and only want to see her enjoying life to the fullest!

Story
Logan is a Great dog. He’s more than a pet, he’s truly this man’s best friendly. I fought long and hard for six years but I’ve finally come to the decision that it’s time to re-home my fur baby due to severe allergies. I’ve exasperated all options. He’s a very loving, energetic, magnetic dog. I hate it’s come to this but my health is more important.
