Our Zazu may not be running a kingdom like his namesake, but he definitely carries himself like he could! Also — much like his animated counterpart — his most noticeable feature is his head… which is approximately three sizes too big for his body. Zazu actually looks a little like a cartoon character, but please don't tell him we said that! Seriously. If there was ever a reason to order a DNA test just out of curiosity, this boy would be it. He’s got the head of a Malinois and the body and legs of a Corgi, which leaves us with a lot of questions and absolutely no answers. So we’ve come up with a few working theories: • If you have sheep (or ducks) that need herding — congratulations, you may have found your guy. • If you’ve always wanted a Malinois but don’t quite have the space for the full-size version — may we present the Mini-Mal™. • Or maybe he’s just a perfectly engineered 30-pound package of personality. Whatever combination created him, it works. Short little Zazu is hilarious, very smart, super social, and comes equipped with a great alert bark in case anyone forgets he’s in charge. When he met the guys for the first time, he made friends with everyone immediately — and we’re pretty sure he already believes he’s head of the class. October 6, 2026, 11:31 am

Toby's ideal home would be with somewhat active (daily walker), adult female(s), an escape-proof set-up, and experience with shy/fearful dogs. Unfortunately, he is too much of a flight risk to go to a high-traffic home or one with children. Seeking a new home for Cookie, a sweet 10-year-old Collie/Corgi mix who's owner suffered a major injury and can no longer care for her.She is super sweet though can take a moment to be comfortable with new people. She is very food-motivated, which makes bonding and routines really straightforward. She'd love to have someone who is home and she can sit near all day long. Her different colored eyes and underbite are adorable. She's a good car rider, too.She likely needs to be the only pet (no dogs or cats) because she can be wary of other dogs and food aggressive with other dogs. She has lived with another dog, and they did okay as long as meals were separate and she was the alpha.She does great on a predictable potty schedule, but needs someone home often enough to keep that consistent so she doesn't have accidents. 3 outings a day minimum. She also needs regular brushing/grooming.She loves to keep her walks short and rest in the sunshine. Adoption fee negotiable - will be donated.
