Welcome Ana to CCPAL foster/rehome program. Ana is living in Connecticut. She is a 32 pound and 5 year 8 month old Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog. She was adopted as a puppy and now is not getting along with a new Healer in the home. The Corgi part of this pup makes her more suitable for an only home. She is great in a doggy park but not fond of sharing her bed, toys or family with another live in dog. This makes miss Ana in need of a new forever home. She is an affectionate dog. She is potty trained and has good recall when called. She is an alert dog when someone is at the door or something out of place in the yard. She is adorable and will be a great companion for a family. She has been good around all people including strangers. She is currently not around a cat . Ana is a smaller dog with a larger than life personality and looks to match. She is a great walker on leash and has had some training. She is very smart. Ana could have a meet and greet with an approved application. Ana is healthy, spayed and current on vaccines. Rehome fee is a $200 donation to the Rescue. Meet Zeus, a handsome 8 year old neutered male Corgi, weighing approx. 30 lbs! Zeus was surrendered to PRL through no fault of his own, due to significant changes in his owner's living situation. He has been loved and well cared for, and the owner chose to surrender him to a rescue to ensure he would be safe and would go to a good home. Zeus is a friendly boy who does well with other dogs. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. His previous owner has stated that he tends to be a little nervous around small children, so older children 10+ or adults only would be best. Zeus is medically up to date and housebroken. Meet Wynn, a handsome young adult (estimated age 1-2 years) neutered male corgi mix who is every bit as sweet as he is good looking! Somebow Wynn found himself in an overcrowded kill shelter in east TN, which is no place for such a well mannered friendly guy like Wynn. We pulled him and placed him into a loving foster home, where he has been doing amazingly well! His TN foster reports that Wynn gets along great with other dogs of all sizes, he has been very chill and laid back with every dog he has met so far! He has a great temperament and is good with people and kids as well (not cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats). Wynn is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. There is no medicine or daily care that he will need. This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. He looks like a Corgi Mix and he is long haired, I just do not know. He is 4 years old and weighs 22 pounds. DANNY loves to hang out with me and lay on me and he growls or moans while he is doing it, I guess it is pleasing to him. He was rescued from a not so good situation. He was with his deceased owner for 2 weeks before relatives showed up and found them together. The relatives put him in the yard and just forgot about him, never coming back to make sure he was okay or anything. The neighbors fed and watered him another week until the relatives relinquished him. The neighbors brought him to me and he has been settling in. He gets along with the other dogs but really has no interest in playing with any of them, he just wants to hang out with me. Follows me all over the house. He does play with toys and loves his chew bones. He can be trusted in the home while and I am gone on errands and he is potty trained. He puts himself in the crate sometimes to get away from the other dogs but he does not like me to lock him in. He rides in the car well and walks on the leash without pulling. They estimate her to be exactly 1 year old and she weighs 25 pounds. MADDIE is a very good girl who is pleasant to be around and low maintenance on a daily basis. She gets along with all of the dogs in the foster home and plays with most of them. She is so easy-going and nice. I figure she came from a home with kids in it because when she was found she had a pink marker drawing on her head, only a kid would do that. Sadly, MADDIE was abandoned in a local PetSmart here in San Antonio, TX. A lady pretending to be showing brought her in and just left her in the store to roam around.
