Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. If you are interested in adopting Isaac, please submit an application on the website below' www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
East TN. Out of state welcome! If you’re seeing this on adopt a pet the great news is that transport is inclluded to your area if you are in the northeast and Great Lakes areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best! Meet Pablo! This little (yes he’s only 19.4 lbs) cutie found himself at a kill shelter with his brother sibling. No they do not need to stay together. They are not bonded. Pablo is a very confident and happy boy. He is shy and a bit fearful of you raise your hand (so sad) he warms up quickly and has a very sweet disposition. He does fine with children he knows and that know how to respect the dogs space. Probably best in a home with kiddos over the age of 7. He is silly and loveable and absolutely loves to sit on your lap and be loved. He is only 19 lbs and should not get any bigger. He is around 11 months old. House training is coming along great! He does give cues and will hold it if he has to go until you let him out. Apply at petpath.org

Story
Rupert, lovingly known as Rupert von Corgington to in his foster family, is precious! This 6 month old, 26 lb pup was born in a puppy mill and never sold, so he was surrendered to us. Since he spent the beginning of his life in a cage, he’s still learning the ways of the world. He has made great strides in his foster home already and has discovered he loves attention! Rupert enjoys snuggling up on the couch in the evening and is happy to romp and play with his canine friends during the day. He adores dogs of all ages and sizes and is wonderful with everyone! This smart boy is already crate and housetrained and working on his leash walking and basic commands. He has met horses, goats, and donkeys at his foster home and hasn’t met anyone he does not want to befriend. Rupert is still a pup and will occasionally need redirection back to his toys, but he’s a great boy and a quick learner. He enjoys playing with his toys and particularly loves stuffed toys with dangly arms. You don’t want to miss out on this darling! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. Story
With his delightful Corgi looks and personality, Reese is the whole package! This 21 lb, 6 month old pup was born in a puppy mill and surrendered because he had not sold. Since he started his life without much exposure to things, he is initially timid with new people and situations but is making great progress. He adores other dogs, has a blast with his canine foster siblings, and even has the sweetest kisses for them. Despite his little legs, Reese can even keep up with the big dogs! He has also met goats, horses, and donkeys at his foster home and is good with everyone. Reese is adorable to watch when he bounces and plays, but cutest of all is when he collects his toys in his crate or on one of the dog beds. This angel is great about playing with his toys and is also very happy to quietly snooze between play sessions. Reese likes to be pet and loved on by his people but is also content with entertaining himself. He is crate and house trained and working on his leash walking and basic commands. Reese is sure to brighten the lives of a lucky family! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org).
