Story
Brady was discovered on someone's front porch in the wee hours of the morning on Superbowl Sunday. She heard him crying and brought him inside. He was only 4lbs and about 6 weeks old. Unable to keep the kind person reached out to our shelter. He was in good health, just needed to stay on gruel for a bit. Brady loves playing with other dogs and toys, he is a very curious little boy as well. He loves giving kisses, snuggling under your chin and food motivated. He is the sweetest! If interested in meeting Brady please email us for an application.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Lady — Gentle Soul, Quiet Companion, Blossoming Beauty 🐾✨ Hi… I’m Lady 💛 I’m about 10 months old, 25 pounds, and if I’m being honest… I’m still figuring this big, busy world out. I may be a little shy when we first meet—you might have to come get me (I like to pretend it’s a game of “you can’t catch me,” but I promise I’m not very committed to winning 😅). Once you do, though? I melt. Soft pets, kind voices, and gentle patience are my absolute favorite things. I’m what they call a “gentle heart.” I don’t have a mean bone in my body—just a sensitive soul who wants to feel safe and loved. And once I do? Oh… I start to shine. ✨ I love other dogs—they help me feel brave and show me that everything’s going to be okay. Having a confident canine friend in my forever home would be like having my own emotional support buddy. Some of my favorite things: - Going on walks (I’m actually really good on a leash!) - Checking in to make sure you’re still there… because you’re important 💛 - Quietly hanging out near you like your polite little shadow - Learning that the world isn’t so scary after all I’m not the chaotic, zoomy type—I’m more of a “let’s take a peaceful walk and then sit together in comfortable silence” kind of girl. Think cozy companion, not party animal. Because I’m still building my confidence, I’d do best in a calmer home without small children. Lots of noise and fast movement can feel overwhelming for me—but with patience, love, and time, I’m blossoming more every single day. 🌼 What I really need is someone who sees me—not just the shy beginnings, but the loving, loyal dog I’m becoming. Someone who will go at my pace, celebrate my little victories, and let me grow into the confident girl I’m meant to be. I promise, I’m worth the wait. So if you’ve got a kind heart, a little patience, and maybe a friendly dog who wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes… I’d love to be your Lady. Apply today at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛

Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/       ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process.  Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Meet Bruno — the best of both worlds wrapped up in one adorable, wiggly package! Bruno is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Corgi mix with the classic Corgi body (short legs, sturdy build, and that irresistible wiggle) — but with a unique face that makes him truly one of a kind. And when we say wiggle, we mean it… his whole body gets in on the action! Add in his constantly wagging little nub tail, and you’ve got a dog who wears his happiness on his sleeve. Bruno absolutely loves people of all sizes. Whether it’s kids, adults, or anyone willing to give him a little attention, he’s all in — soaking up pets and dishing out affection in return. He’s the kind of dog who will greet you like you’re the best part of his day, every single time. We believe Bruno may have spent much of his life as an outdoor dog, so he’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house training. The good news? He’s already making great progress! He uses the dog door during the day to go in and out, and he does excellent in his kennel at night. With a little patience and consistency, he’s going to catch on quickly. Bruno does well with other dogs overall, but he does not do well with unaltered male dogs, so he’ll do best in a home that can accommodate that preference. If you’re looking for a happy, people-loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Bruno is ready to wiggle his way right into your life. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $200. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.  Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional questions may be directed to sagdinfo@gmail.com. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Story
All about Ringo 🐾 Hi there, I’m Ringo! 13 years young • Male • Sweet, Relaxed & Playful If you’re looking for a gentle old soul with a silly streak, I might just be your guy. I may be a senior, but trust me—I’ve still got plenty of love (and a little mischief) left to give. Kid‑Friendly Companion  I live with a toddler in my foster home, and he’s my little buddy. He sometimes plays a bit rough, but I’m patient and gentle—I’ve never bitten him. I just enjoy being part of the fun. Good With Pets I get along great with other dogs and most cats. I’ll admit… I sometimes chase off the stray cats in the neighborhood—except for one special kitty I’ve decided is allowed to hang out in the yard. What can I say? I have standards. A Little Escape Artist (But Only for Fun!) I love a good game of “chase,” so please don’t leave the door or side gate open. If I do slip out, my foster mom just sits on the ground and calls my name. I always run right back to her and give her kisses. She tells me, “No, Ringo, no running off,” but I think it’s hilarious. Then we walk back inside together like nothing happened. Chewer of… Well, Lots of Things I’ve been known to chew sticks outside and snack on anything my toddler drops on the floor—yes, even playdough. So it’s important to keep things picked up when I’m roaming around. If you give me a nice bone or chew toy, I’m much less tempted to go hunting for sticks in the yard. Cuddle Buddy Extraordinaire I love to cuddle. Just sit down, relax, and I’ll curl right up with you. Being close to my humans is one of my favorite things. Short Walks, Big Heart I enjoy going on walks, but not too far—I’ve got an arthritic knee. My foster mom gives me doggy glucosamine chews to help keep me comfortable. Hey, I take my vitamins just like humans do. I may be an older boy, but I still adore playing outside, sniffing around the yard, and soaking up the sunshine. Naps on the porch are one of my favorite hobbies. I'm potty and pee pad trained. I sleep in a baby gated hallway/laundry room area.   If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and slightly goofy companion who will make you smile every day, I’d love to meet you. Maybe your porch could be my new favorite nap spot. 🐾
