Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Suki - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The word Suki in Japanese means like, a liking of, or fondness for. I'm hoping that a special someone will take a liking to me and I can have that wonderful family experience. I'm such a sweet and likeable little girl that it won't take but a NY second (not even the whole minute) before I worm my way into your heart and then forget it, it's all over, I'll be your little LOVE bug!! At around 9 months old I'm at a great age for...everything! I'm playful and active ready for any and all adventures. I love going for walks so we can do neighborhood strolls, walks to the local coffee shop (really really love these especially if I can get a puppaccino pleeeeease), even nature trail walks ( all those smells are heavenly). I'd be perfect to go camping cuz you know I don't sleeping on the ground if you don't. I'm also game for any car rides for running errands, trips to the park or just a leisurely sight seeing trip. I'm game to give it all a whirl as long as we are doing it together!! At my 22lbs I'm at my adult weight which is also a perfect size. Big enough to enjoy our said adventures but small enough to not take up much room on the couch or bed. My size will also make me great for in town living, out in the country or anywhere in between. I'm already house trained, now that's a nice bonus for my family. I'm also good with people and other dogs. Playing with my foster siblings is one of my favoritest things to do along with getting cuddles with my people. I haven't met any of those strange smelling creatures y'all call a cat yet, but with my sweet nature, if introduced properly I should be fine with them too. My shorter sleek reddish coat is low maintenance in the grooming department making me more of a wash-n-go type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! You got it, lots more time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. Ok, maybe that's my favoritest thing!!! ;) Are you needing that constant in your life? Someone to have your back no matter what? Someone to share in your adventures along with your everyday living of life? I would love to be that gal!!

Story
Hello. This is Nala. I found her near the Alamodome and saw that she had a collar with a phone number. I took her in hopes of getting ahold of her owners but they did not answer. I took her to the vet and they saw that she was Microchipped. The vet provided me with her name, which is when I found out her name is Nala and she is only 9 Months old. The vet also tried to contact the owners, but again no response from them. Eventually, I went out of my way to text the owners to see if they wanted her. They finally responded and after a short call, they informed me that they did not want Nala and that when they had her she was left outside on her own. I have decided to foster Nala, unfortunately I cannot keep her as I do not have time in my schedule to train a new puppy, as I work 14 hour shifts. Nala is a great puppy who needs someone who can provide the training and attention she needs. She loves cuddles and she loves to play. She is a fierce pup who needs a great home!
