Story
This 4-month-old sweetheart is named Chandler which is a rather big name for his breed which is Chiweenie. A Chiweenie is a mix of Chihuahua and Dachshund and so is a small dog. Our boy may be small, but his personality is large and loving! He presently weighs 12 to 15 pounds and will mature to only about 18 to 20 pounds. He’s great with other dogs, kids and his foster’s cat, too! He’s truly a delight! (posted 6/15/26, TN) ' 'Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $170.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** 'June 17, 2026, 8:03 pm

Story
Blacky is a sweet shy boy at first. He is playful and warms up once he knows you are someone he can trust. Would make a great running buddy. He comes from the same horrible hoarder situation and had to fight for food so he is still reactive to other dogs at feeding time. We think that he would do best as an only pet or with a female doggie home.

Story
Cookie's world quickly changed when the person she adored could no longer care for her. As a senior who thought she had life all figured out, that's a lot to process. Cookie is taking things one tiny step at a time in her foster home. New people and surroundings has left her feeling uncertain. She's not being difficult, just feeling bewildered trying to make sense of her new world. We're confident there is a loving lady tucked beneath that uncertainty. She's just waiting for someone kind and patient to help her find her footing. If you have a soft spot for seniors, and believe your place has "Cookie's Retirement Home" written on it, she'd would love to hear from you! Est. birthdate is 6/11/2015, about 16 lbs., her $200 adoption fee includes vaccines up to date, parasite prevention, spay and microchip.

This is Homer, a 7-year-old Dachshund/Beagle mix who was found roaming the streets with his pal, Marge. These two are so close that they must be adopted together. They love each other and are very loyal. A bonded pair, we will not adopt them out separately. Homer is dog friendly, playful and he loves to be held. So sweet! He has been treated for heartworm and is ready to go home with Marge and you. (posted 9/8/25, ME) ' ' Fee for both dogs: $500.00: Adoption: $300.00 Transport: $200.00June 17, 2026, 8:03 pm

Wayne is a super sweet little man. He is a little excited and anxious at first meeting new people due to his past trauma but once he gets to know you he is quite the love bug. He also came from the hoarder rescue but has made a beautiful recovery. Unfortunately Wayne get muscular seizures when he gets too excited but needs no medication as of now. Wayne is a velcro dog that wants nothing but to be held and loved all day.
