Story
Please contact Sheryl with OAKDALE TINY PAWS RESCUE, text+1 (209) 606-3640 or email at tinypawsoakdale@gmail.com, Snickerdoodle is being fostered in Oakdale. Snickerdoodle was born on August 9, 2025. He is a Doxy mix who was adopted by an 80-year-old woman that had never had a dog before. Through no fault of his own he was given to us to find a new forever home. Snickerdoodle loves to play with his toys and would be happy as the only dog or as a companion for another dog. He does like to be the dominant dog of the bunch. Snickerdoodle loves to take a nap on your lap and get lots of pets, and he sleeps in his crate at night. He is used to using wee wee pads to go potty and is starting to go outside to do his business. Snickerdoodle would do best with children over the age of eight only because he can be a little bit mouthy while playing. He just needs consistency with training to teach him how to have a soft mouth and to work on basic commands. He would make a wonderful companion to anyone’s family. Snickerdoodle is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting this sweet little guy, please contact Sheryl with OAKDALE TINY PAWS RESCUE, text+1 (209) 606-3640 or email at tinypawsoakdale@gmail.com PRE-SCREENING, APPLICATION, VET REFERENCES & FENCED YARD REQUIRED. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! YOU WILL GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR NEW FURRY FAMILY MEMBER BY GIVING THEM LOVE AND TRAINING

Story
We were asked to help with a hoarding situation with dogs. THANKFULLY these 4 are SAFE with us!! Ziggy, Sassy, Pixie and Schatzi. Please consider supporting Animal Friends Connection Humane Society as we cannot do this work without public support: https://animalfriendsconnect.org/donate/ Meet Schatzi – Your New Best Friend! This adorable 1-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix weighs about 9.9 pounds and is ready to fill your life with love and joy! Mostly white and full of personality, Schatzi is a sweet little girl who loves to paw at you for attention and ask to be picked up — she knows she’s important and craves affection. Schatzi’s best friend is Pixie, and the two love to snuggle together, making them the perfect duo for a family that loves companionship. They can be adopted together or separately, so you can choose the perfect match for your home. They need a home with another dog if not adopted together. Schatzi is a gentle soul who will thrive in a calm environment, ideally with an existing dog to help her blossom and feel secure. She’s already learning to use the doggie door and is working on her house and leash training. She’s scheduled to be spayed. She’s current on vaccinations, microchipped, and has been treated for fleas and worms. All she needs now is a loving home where she can flourish and be your forever friend. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion to share life’s little moments, Schatzi might be just the girl for you! Come meet her and see the love she has to give. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
