Story
This good boy is Rudy B. He is a mixed breed, but he has the body of a Dachshund and the face of a Pitty, such a fun combo! Rudy is about 3 1/2 years old and weighs 32 pounds. He was living a happy life when his owner unexpectedly passed away, leaving Rudy with no place to live. The family wanted to take him in, but their dogs were not happy with a new addition. Rudy B isn't overly active and is already neutered and potty trained, so may be a great companion for someone who is just looking for a low-key dog who is friendly and loves to hang out in the house with you. Rudy is already potty trained, so that is one big bonus. We can't say 100% what all he is mixed with, but he does strongly favor the 2 breeds we have guessed here. Whatever Rudy's breed make-up, he is a loving dog who just wants a fresh start with a new family who will love him. $300.00 adoption for this wonderful boy. Story
This unique little man is named JJ! He's got an endearing look to him with his long body and stubby legs. His previous owners guessed that he may be a Dachshund mix based on their research. He may have other breeds mixed in there as well, but that would be a mystery only a DNA test could solve. He's a sweet, happy boy no matter what he is! He currently weighs 22 lbs and previous owner notified us that he is 3 years old. They were no longer able to keep him due to them relocating out of the country. They were also able to tell us he has been good with other dogs and kids, and he is housetrained with a dog door! We have brought him up to date on vaccines and microchipped him, and he will be neutered on 5/13. He can leave the shelter afterwards! $350.00 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, and microchip. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Millie is an absolutely delightful pup! This beautiful (Dachshund/Chihuahua/Corgi mixed girl) will melt your heart! sweet Millie is two years old and weighs 13.4 pounds. Her smooth white coat is easy care. She is such a loving and affectionate companion, especially with her strong bond to Mae. She was abandoned here at the sanctuary with Mae who we believe is her daughter. Millie is an absolute love and wants to be in your lap. Millie is extremely bonded to Mae. Mae is more independent. Millie is possessive of your lap but will share nicely with Mae she enjoys toys and shows her sweet personality. She walks well on the leash. She is a climber and will hop right up on our desk and stroll across our half wall. So please have a securely fenced yard. Better yet she loves to be inside most of the time. She would be a good agility dog. She is spayed, microchip, and has her vaccinations. If you’re looking to spread the word about Millie and Mae, sharing their story on platforms like Facebook can help them find a loving forever home. Hopefully, someone sees your post and realizes just how special these girls are! We also have a Facebook page and hope that you will “Like” us at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61561870361467 we post some of our dogs/puppies on there. Story
Meet Pixie! This shy girl is looking for a forever home! She is a 4-year-old, 10-pound, Dachshund / Chihuahua mix ? She was found as a stray and brought to our sanctuary. She had been running the streets for weeks! Pixie needs a calm and nurturing household. Another small gentle dog in the home to show her the ropes would be ideal. Pixie is quickly adapting to the routine at the sanctuary. She responds well to the command “go potty” and is learning to do her business outside. She is currently more of a couch potato though she should enjoy short walks? She is learning to tolerate gentle petting? She has not yet shown interest in toys? She may need some leash training but her small size makes her easy to carry in a pouch. She is a perfect stroller size! Pixie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Are you ready for a girl to spoil and love? Pixie is waiting to give you love in return. Boy oh boy… do we have PUPPIES! Cricket is an adorable 10-week-old puppy with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. He's one of four brothers—Casper, Cody, and Cooper—and he's ready to find his forever family. Mostly white with charming cream spots, a smooth and easy-care coat. Small and cuddly, weighing 3.8 lbs at 10 weeks. Born approximately February 14, 2025: Dad is a Dachshund mix, and Mom is a Yorkie mix. Cricket Loves toys and playing with other dogs. Enjoys snuggling with his humans—perfect for cozy evenings! Would thrive with another fur sibling to keep him company. Potty trained to use potty pads; he's learning to go outside on command. Will need leash training when he's old enough. Scheduled for neutering, Up-to-date on vaccines. If you're looking for a sweet, playful puppy who loves to cuddle, He is sure to bring a lot of joy and love into your home!
