Kayla is a delightful, blue-eyed beauty! Her eyes are sure to capture attention. Kayla is 2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. We guess her to be a mix of: Dachshund / Chihuahua and Jack Russell Terrier ?. She is sweet, affectionate, playful. She is treat motivated. She loves healthy snacks like carrots and apples. Whether it's cuddling on the couch, going for walks, or just enjoying each other's company, Kayla is an awesome companion. She is leash trained and loves to go for walks! She needs to stay on a consistent potty schedule. She will chew if left home alone so will need someone that is home with her most of the time or is able to take her along wherever they go. She gets along well with other playful dogs. Kayla is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations She's loving and is ready to bring joy to a lucky family. 7/7/25: This sweet girl came into the Animal Shelter as a stray, just about to burst with pups and not fully mobile on all four legs. She is being seen by a vet to determine the best way to deliver the pups. She will become available as soon as all her pups are whelped and weaned, anticipated to be early to mid-September. But you don't have to wait until then...if you are interested in this girl, fill out an application. Our goal is that as soon as she is done being supermom, she has her own place to land right away! She deserves to be pampered and cuddled for the rest of her life!
