When Frank arrived here, he was partially paralyzed. Unfortunately, after we took him to the vet, it was determined there were no surgical options that could help him. Since then, he has been on a special diet to get his weight down. He is also taking a daily medication to help him, and we are so happy to report it is really working. Because we require visits here to our rescue and home checks, adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles, Ca area.

She was really confused and shy when she first arrived, which is understandable, poor thing had never been away from her family that had her since she was a puppy. She is 10 years old now and has adjusted beautifully and loves it here now. She is really sweet and affectionate but will take her time to get to know a new person. She is housebroken and is a quiet and mellow dog that likes to lay on a dog bed and watch the world go by. We are still getting to know him but what we can say for sure is that he has a good temperament and he's friendly and affectionate with people. He would do best in a home with another young, playful dog his size and with his speed. He lives with a foster who works from home and he doesn't like to be alone for long periods of time, so an adopter who also works from home would be ideal for him. At six months old, Poncho is at the age to start training and he’s super smart. We are looking for a home that has the time to devote to a puppy. He has all the makings of a good canine citizen. Poncho is dewormed and deflead and has his first round of vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped for adoption.
