When Frank arrived here, he was partially paralyzed. Unfortunately, after we took him to the vet, it was determined there were no surgical options that could help him. Since then, he has been on a special diet to get his weight down. He is also taking a daily medication to help him, and we are so happy to report it is really working. You can see more videos of this special-needs cutie on our Instagram page @thebrittanyfoundation. Because we require visits here to our rescue and home checks, adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles, Ca area.

She’s currently still nursing her babies, but we’re taking applications now. She will be able to go home on or around April 30th! We think she’d be good with kids and possibly cats, but have not tested her. Requirements: -House with a yard. -No long work hours. -Ability to keep Summer socialized with other balanced dogs. -Must be able to provide two walks per day. -Must have good structure and leadership.

She was really confused and shy when she first arrived, which is understandable, poor thing had never been away from her family that had her since she was a puppy. She is 10 years old now and has adjusted beautifully and loves it here now. She is really sweet and affectionate but will take her time to get to know a new person. She is housebroken and is a quiet and mellow dog that likes to lay on a dog bed and watch the world go by. Meet Zaddie, a 3 year old doxie mix who is crate trained and almost fully potty trained. She has great recall, loves affection, and stays close to her human. Zaddie is mid to low energy, still nervous on car rides but does well, easy on leash, great eater, and sleeps through the night. She is not destructive and is not resource aggressive with toys or food. However, she needs work on socialization and basic obedience. Zaddie has a soft and submissive demeanor and needs to gain confidence and be more carefree. She is a playful and loving spirit when she feels safe.
