Scooby is a 5 year old Dachshund Bully mix weighing approximately 35 pounds. He was surrendered when his owner lost her job and was forced to move in with relatives. You can see the sadness in his eyes ☹. He is very timid and laid back, complacent and mellow. Needless to say, he is very depressed and won’t even eat (not even treats). His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kirby was adopted as a pup and was returned to us, his adopter ran into some medical issues and was no longer able to care for Kirby.Kirby is a very good boy, he is shy at first with strangers but then when he does warm up he acts like he has known ya forever, he was an only dog at his previous home, he is very much a companion dog who loves to go for walks and travels fine in the car. He does get along with other dogs  as he has always done, but at 10 he has grown use to the way life once was. Please note he does have envioronmental allergies and requires monthly  injections to  be comfortable.We would like to  find him a home where someone is looking to have a faithful companion and be willing to take him for walks and play with him. He still has lots of enegy left and loves to run.If you would like to be considered as a new home for him send us a message.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 9, 2026, 5:05 pm
