Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Kirby would be happiest as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention as someone’s loyal companion. He is dog friendly. He’s not a full‑time couch potato, as he enjoys and needs his daily walks. He rides beautifully in the car and absolutely loves going on adventures. He does well with older children, but we think he’d be especially content living with older adults. Kirby loves being close to his person and will happily follow you wherever you go. . And yes—he really does dance a little jig when it’s time for dinner. Please Note^^^^Kirby is  allergic to cats, dust mites, and storage mites. That means he won’t be able to live in a home with cats. The mite allergies may take a little extra management, but with the right medication, he should do well.           Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 7, 2026, 12:21 am

Story
GetALong Dachshund Rescue is pleased to introduce Greta and Shotzy. Greta and Shotzy are 9 years old, and weigh about 14 pounds. They are looking for their forever home together. This wonderful bonded pair are extremely loving. Their favorite place to be is with their person. They are looking for a home where they can sleep in the big bed and have lots of cuddles. They would like a home where their person is home with them most of the time, and where there are no children under the age of 10 years. They have not been cat tested but get along well with other dogs who are their own size. Because they are both very submissive, we are looking for a home for them without large dogs. They would like a home with a fenced yard so they can enjoy sunbeams and zoomies. Shotzy and Greta are very playful. They enjoy playing with toys and each other. They are very bonded and want to give each other kisses and cuddles and also love to share their love with their person. Both love to go for car rides and enjoy being anywhere their person is. They are working on their leash walking in their foster home in Ohio and are improving every day. Shotzy and Greta are both house trained. As with all rescue dogs it is to be expected that they may go through a period of adjustment when they come to their forever home, and patience and understanding will be important. Both Shotzy and Greta are crate trained. Greta and Shotzy are waiting for their forever home! Are you going to be the lucky one to adopt the sweetest dogs ever? Greta and Shotzy are going to make some lucky adopter very very happy! Apply today to adopt them!

Story
Reese is a sweet girl. She is about three years old and I have been fostering her since she was a new born baby. She loves to swim and run around and play. She loves other dogs, people, and life itself. She's always a good time and just so so happy. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate at night. I think Reese would benefit from a home with a large fenced yard and space. Possibly a home on a farm or something where she can be active and play. She loves running and being active, going in the car, and cuddling up with you. She deserves a home where she is loved and can live her years. I am posting her here hoping that I can find a family that can open their heart to her. She is a good girl and I won't take her to a shelter. She was saved by me when none of her litter mates lived, she is a true survivor.

Story
Weighing just 20 lbs, King is a 3-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi–Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into his small frame. True to his name, he carries himself with a confident little strut, as if he knows he rules the house—and honestly, he probably does. With his low-to-the-ground build and expressive face, King is equal parts charming and entertaining. He’s got that classic mix of Corgi intelligence and Dachshund curiosity, which means he’s always alert, always interested, and sometimes just a little bit mischievous. Whether he’s exploring every corner of the yard or keeping an eye on his surroundings like a tiny watchdog, he takes his role seriously—but never without a playful twist. King loves being around his people and has a loyal, affectionate nature. He enjoys playtime, short adventures, and then settling in close for some quality relaxation. At 3 years old, he’s right in his prime—energetic, smart, and full of character. He's done well with other dogs, but he is not a fan of cats. Small in size but big in presence, King brings a fun, lively energy wherever he goes, along with plenty of love and a touch of royal attitude.
