Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Kirby would be happiest as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention as someone’s loyal companion. He is dog friendly. He’s not a full‑time couch potato, as he enjoys and needs his daily walks. He rides beautifully in the car and absolutely loves going on adventures. He does well with older children, but we think he’d be especially content living with older adults. Kirby loves being close to his person and will happily follow you wherever you go. . And yes—he really does dance a little jig when it’s time for dinner. Please Note^^^^Kirby is  allergic to cats, dust mites, and storage mites. That means he won’t be able to live in a home with cats. The mite allergies may take a little extra management, but with the right medication, he should do well.           Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 10, 2026, 12:06 am

Story
Reese is a sweet girl. She is about three years old and I have been fostering her since she was a new born baby. She loves to swim and run around and play. She loves other dogs, people, and life itself. She's always a good time and just so so happy. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate at night. I think Reese would benefit from a home with a large fenced yard and space. Possibly a home on a farm or something where she can be active and play. She loves running and being active, going in the car, and cuddling up with you. She deserves a home where she is loved and can live her years. I am posting her here hoping that I can find a family that can open their heart to her. She is a good girl and I won't take her to a shelter. She was saved by me when none of her litter mates lived, she is a true survivor.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Stretch! Stretch, Spot, and Little Man came to PRBJ from an overcrowded shelter after being rescued from a hoarding situation where the home had over 50 dogs. These dogs are all nervous and have no manners, not talking about sit, stay, paw I am talking about they are used to climbing on tables or counters if they can find a way up.  But they are SWEET and just need to each find a patient owner who can help them and maybe another dog in the house to show them what a dog is supposed to be like :) Important Information for New Puppy Parents  Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.  We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.  **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 12, 2026, 4:49 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Leonard!  This adorable boy is one of 9 puppies born on 6/27/26 to Pennie, an incredibly sweet setter mix.  Leonard and his siblings are outgoing, playful, and full of puppy fun! They’re great eaters, love their toys, and are always ready for some attention. While they can be a little shy when meeting new people, they warm up quickly and soon become loving, happy little companions who are more than willing to hand out plenty of puppy-breath kisses. Like all puppies, they’re still learning about the world and will need families who are prepared to help them become the best dogs they can be. Their new families should be ready to work on potty training, continue socialization, and dedicate plenty of time to positive-reinforcement training and helping them learn good manners. We don't know who the puppies' dad is, so we aren't sure exactly how big they will get. They all will be adopted with a spay/neuter addendum. Leonard is looking for a family who understands that puppyhood takes patience, consistency, time, and plenty of love—but the rewards are pretty wonderful. If you live in Central FL and you’re ready for the fun, cuddles, training, and commitment that comes with raising a puppy, Leonard may be the perfect addition to your family.
