Louisa is very friendly with both people and other dogs, but she's naturally a little shy when meeting new people. Once she feels comfortable, she's incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. With her calm personality, she'd likely thrive in a quieter home or with older children who can give her the patience she needs to settle in. She is very housebroken, crate trained and goes in her crate to rest open door policy.. Has a great appetite, likes to play with toys. Good with other dogs! Has an inquisitive nature, likes to explore and like other doxies likes to dig! Needs a little work on the leash but she will follow you anywhere and is very food motivated.. She may make a good scent work girlie!! very quiet, calm prefer no toddlers. Great girl for an older couple or medium active folk. Will be able to take this girl anywhere! We adopted Rex from a local animal shelter when he was about 2 months old. He’s very loving but he is full of energy and unfortunately I am dealing with a serious bone infection in my foot I’ve been in an out of the hospital a may be undergoing another surgery. I honestly feel like he needs someone that can run an play and give him the time he needs. We have recently just become a one income household so I feel again he needs someone that can really take care of him. He wants to be friends with the cats but I think because he’s so hyper they decline. He does have an issue chewing but again with the proper training he will be an awesome addition to anyone’s family. He does come with his bed and crate as he is crate trained as well.We do not have an adoption fee we just want him to go to a loving home where someone can really take the time to train him right.

Rehoming is due to being a tbehavior case based off being fearful of mostly of men. He is willing to open up to men, but he had a bad past. When he was younger and was abused by a man. So with men, he does have a little uneasiness with them. With females, he immediately opens up, loves females. I love to follow them around very sweet.When it comes to them. A female owner would be best for him to help with his rapport build with them.He has some training on leash and off leash just needs some refreshing with whoever adopts him to reinforce it.He loves to be center of attention with its owners.
